With Herol Graham in the hospital maybe we could do one of his fights.

Herol Graham vs Mike McCallum?
One of his victories would be preferable surely?

Much like Martin Murray: Herol Graham is more famous for his world level losses isn't he?

As already noted he's unwell at the moment it would probably do more for his morale to see one of his victories.

How about the Chris Johnson fight?

I don't think that fight is as interesting as the McCallum fight.

Okay then Horse you post what you want, it is YOUR thread after all :TU:

(Also, I suspect you don't know the significance of the Johnson fight)

I'm not actually sure how closely Herol is following this thread, but I'm sure he would appreciate the sentiment :TU:

If you're any sort of 'Boxing Historian' you really should know the significance of the Johnson fight Horse :shame:

The first thing that I wrote in this thread:
Horse wrote:My knowledge of British & Irish boxing history is pretty rubbish.
Why don't you give a brief explanation of the Johnson fight's significance?

Fair play to you Horse, I hadn't seen that post :TU:

However I suspect if I comply with your request you will simply dismiss the significance of the Johnson fight and post the McCallum one anyway.

So sorry ... NO

The Johnson fight is insignificant compared to the McCallum fight.

So why post this then?

Herol Graham vs Mike McCallum?
The '?' does imply you're open to (dare I say it?) suggestions, I've made a suggestion you've dismissed it, you're clearly going to post the McCallum fight, why even enter into this debate with me?

The Johnson fight WAS highly significant (if you had a scrap of boxing knowledge you would be aware of that) it's a far more entertaining fight than the McCallum fight, everyone has seen the McCallum fight a million times and given that Herol is unwell at the moment I consider (as does Boxerbeetle above) that one of his victories is a more fitting tribute to the man.

I was asking for suggestions. I didn't like yours.

You didn't defend your suggestion very well. Why should I just go along with what you want?

Why is it significant?

No, they have not.

Losing to McCallum was better than beating Johnson.

You don't this thread like your monthly rankings is your own self created kingdom, you make the rules Horse we all know that.

For months you've been posting your rankings on CHB, you always post 'open to suggestions etc' and ... you consistently ignore 'suggestions' then spend days bickering with people (as you are doing with here with me)

You really are a pathetic and pointless individual Horse, both forums would be better without you :TU:

You never really wanted the Johnson fight, you just wanted an argument.

I don't known why I bother.

Why bother asking Horse you'll only ignore any suggestions?

In all honesty it might be for the best if you packed the whole thing in, it's never attracted a great deal of interest, this has diminished every week (last weeks none whatsoever until you started begging) your petty and argumentative nature does little to encourage involvement frankly.
