John Snr passed away quite a few years back & I'm sure John didn't fight again because he didn't want to box without his Dad in his corner

few names i beat as amatuer : josh warrington, bobby jenkinson, Ryan Mulcahy, ryan peake, lee gillespe and ryan doyle, jon fernandez, kallum de'ath.
but got a whooping by luke campbell in ABAs and lost to points by scott jenkins wow he could hit

no palooka...just hit like one! Highest he boxed was lt welter I think pal..saw him chill tommy coyle. On e of my kids as amateur retired at 18...beat Adam Etches lewis taylor chad gaynor (twice) Rod Smith (twice) lost to liam twice..gave tommy langford a count in r1 and 2 and lost a split! That boy could whack!
