I'm just hoping David Haye has the guts to do it.
He's been in with bigger and better than Shannon Briggs so I think you're fine on that front :TU:

He can't. He's not tall enough to reach the record player yet.

As anyone seen the video he did with eddie hearn at eddies gaff last week???....its very telling...eddies is clearly telling him he needs to fight a chisora, whyte, hughie fury befors he gets a joshua, haye or fury fight.....yet briggs is going on about his youtube, social media numbers, reality tv shows etc....

Seriously fight someone or sod off its boring....we all know wlad paid him to hype all that crap a couple of years ago...theres a wlad documentary on netflix and you can clearly see briggs in wlads gym laughing and joking lol...fake as f**k
That's all Briggs has these days.

He's fat, ancient & wheezes like an old diesel engine with a clogged DPF; he can't fight anybody serious anymore.

I think Shannon has won over some fans with his antics rather than anything he's done in the ring of late. He's a personality but he's nothing more than a small obstacle now to the top guys. I hope he gets the pay day he's looking for and walks away without taking too much of a tanking.

A bit confusing as to who "champ" refers to. Seems sometimes it's himself sometimes it's other people. Whoever the champ is, "let's go".

To be fair, he isn't fat, he's built like a brick shithouse, but unfortunately he is as mobile and throws as many shots as one also.

But Eddie is to tricky for a chum like Shannon Briggs. He said clearly if he wants big money first he needs to take few meaningful fights.
You could replace the name "Shannon Briggs" with "David Haye" in the quote above and nobody would disagree

Yes I was thinking that too. The big difference is that Haye is still young and that alone increases his credibility as a top contender compared to Briggs. Also, he was not demolished in his last meaningful fight unlike Briggs. More importantly Haye has big following, he generate big viewing numbers. And that puts him in a strong position to make massive fight without shouting "go champ" and beg promoters for a payday. He does need a credible fight though. Thats why he was pushing for Browne. Maybe this drug situation forces Browne to come down form a high horse and take Haye offer, if its still there.

Convinced he's a paid court jester...and that on the promoters 'secret' forum you can click, book and collect.

"Promotion dying on it's arse and need press coverage in a hurry?

Then book Shannon who has enlivened dull pressers for years now.

Ask about out our special rates for Shannon ranting like an Old Testament Prophet from the back of the room or our ever-popular rip-off-the-clothing and do unexpected press-ups routine.

Many satisfied customers including K2 Promotions. VAT registered"

Was hoping he'd be up against Cornish on the Burns card next month but no such luck. I can already see a WWE style stand off at the end of the Haye show with the two of them. Like the end of an episode of RAW back in the day!

I believe there is talk hewill fight on David Haye's undercard with a stipulation in the contract that should both men prevail in their bouts they would meet next.

Although it's hard to see Hearn letting this happening as its a ready made cash-cow fight for AJ as his self promotion sells to the casuals wheather we like it or not!

Briggs has done more than enough to get onto a bill over here, why aren't people falling over themselves to sign him up? Or maybe they are. enjoyed every second of that video. Born entertainer and amiable!
