Demetrius Andrade-Charles Hatley

Post by TooEasy12 »

Does anybody have any information on this fight? Boxrec has it listed for Turning Stone on June 11th. I heard that Hatley's promotor, Don King, was holding up the fight.

My understanding is that his fight against Hatley is a WBC eliminator, so the winner of this fight is in an excellent position.

I would love to see Andrade get back in the ring. In my opinion he's one of the best boxers at 154 and he truly deserves a shot at the big names.

I am looking forward to him getting back busy also. He is definitely one of the best at 154, and hopefully he gets a chance to prove it. Here is one article I read about it. Apparently the winner will face the winner of Jermell Charlo vs John Jackson.

Andrade would absolutely school both Charlo brothers, Andrade-Canelo would be 50-50 but I could see Andrade outpointing him with his superior boxing skills.

Regardless of opposition I'm just happy to see him active again.
In a poor division I fancy him to beat every LM who's surname isn't LARA.

Andrade has been calling Lara out for years now.

He needs to stay active, light middle is the for the taking.
He and Lara are the only world class fighters in the division right now but neither are active enough.
