Briggs hasn't looked good in years so I doubt very much he will last long, he's a slow as hell and has crap stamina. A punchers chance at best, the same as any fighter.

I'm not even sure he has a great punchers chance. He's so slow he will struggle to really get to Haye properly and couldn't put Love away in 12 who Joshua just steamrollered.

To be fair, he didn't look that slow, but he clearly put everthing he had into that initial minute, because after that he did almost nothing.

Briggs was fighting in front of what, 200 people there, he's clearly desperate for money. Haye sold 20,000 at the 02, fighting someone with virtually zero chance of winning.

They reckon Briggs has a net worth of around $10m , so doubt hes desperate. Maybe cant shake the sport, one last hurrah, believes he has power to get rid of a chinny HW in Haye.

Interestingly recently Haye has gone one record saying that his doomed fight with Fury was a 50/50 split of £5m each. That seemed like an extremely good deal for Tyson and probably doubled (if not more) he gross earnings from the Wlad fight.

That would have been a cracking deal for Fury back then, because he wasn't established at all.

No wonder he has so much animosity towards Haye!

I see that briggs was at the press conference. Isn't briggs wasting his time? Britain most powerful man allegedly couldn't get briggs a boxing license 5-6 years ago and at 44 and weekend events the board would be mad to even think about it. Briggs has got a very good chin so if he were to fight Haye, i feel briggs would take a lot of unnecessary punishment

Shocking fight, so small a step up from De Moro it's almost laughable. Briggs will get stood on his head and I hope he gets taken out early as his solid chin could see him take a lot of clean shots. His defence has always been poreous and he's never been quick but he looks like he is walking through treacle these days and his work rate is single figure punches per round.

It's smart by Haye as Briggs is a great talker, has built a decent social media following and had the media eating out of his hand over here this week. In reality though he's never been top level, hasn't had a decent win in almost a decade and is a 44 year old who took a hellish 12 round beating in his last fight worth a damn and had been banned as a drugs cheat. It's not even a contest
