A man who killed the count of monte fisto in an exhibition. If Cornish can reach that level then Fury and co can pack it in

Tyrone Spong used to be an absolute world top kickboxer, somehow at some point he broke his leg while kickboxing and his leg never became 100% again.fizzjambo wrote:Is it any good?fizzjambo wrote:Why?asdfjkl wrote:Maybe try Tyrone Spong
The kickboxing league are way more though as the boxing league, they barely ever surrender, no matter how chanceless they are, they will stand up and start fighting again.
After Tyrone Spong injured his leg so badly he knows he can't continue to kickbox on world top level ever again, but he still got that heart of a lion and also wants to make money (another part of the reason why he left kickboxing), so that's why he joined the boxing league.
He's training with Chagaev and his team now and he's making nice progress, he got pretty much exactly the same bodysizes as Alexander Povetkin (who also used to be a kickboxer in his youth, just like the Klitschko's and Dillian Whyte for example).
Now Tyrone Spong isn't a world top boxer at this moment, but I'm curious how far he can get.
At this moment he KOed all of his opponends within two rounds, including a 12-0 bumfighter, so it's hard to judge yet, but he's certainly more as just another avarage newcomer.
Tyrone Spong is very strong, stronger as most top 20 boxers actually, absolutely refuses to give up, but he's actually a kickboxer.
I can't really say what rank I think he's supposed to get, but certainly a higher rank as the boxer Gary Cornish fought on 25 march 2016.

Re: Gary Cornish 25th March
Nonsense, did you see the midgets Joshua poleaxed early in his career? Yes, Cornish needs better fights but this was never a mismatch. Taking more than a cursory glance at the guys record would have told you this had UD written all over it.mimmy123 wrote:imo this fight should not be allowed. Re: Gary Cornish 25th March
Depends what you class as a mismatch. It had UD written all over it but also had a Cornish win written all over it. It's ok as a confidence builder I suppose since he got chinned by AJ. Hopefully he fights someone who'll give him a test on the Burns card. I personally think he'd be better off sheering sheep in Inverness tbh.Dixonian wrote:Nonsense, did you see the midgets Joshua poleaxed early in his career? Re: Gary Cornish 25th March
I agree with all of that. But to say it was terrible matchmaking is absurd, unless you include every hometown-journeyman match-up as terrible matchmaking. He needs a confidence builder, they've found a guy who's durable and run a few home fighters close. Low and behold he's taken Cornish the distance. Perfect match-making really.Stuarty30 wrote:Depends what you class as a mismatch. It had UD written all over it but also had a Cornish win written all over it. Re: Gary Cornish 25th March
Jason doesn't know about this, you can better ask Tyson Fury, he often spars world top kickboxers in the Netherlands and now he himself is doing pretty well in boxing as well. Somehow I guess you're more interested in your own opinion, not about those who are actually involved in this world.Stuarty30 wrote:What does Jason Gavern have to say about his potential?asdfjkl wrote:Tyrone Spong used to be an absolute world top kickboxer, somehow at some point he broke his leg while kickboxing and his leg never became 100% again.fizzjambo wrote:
