Hughie is the only fighter I've ever seen having burst pustules attended by his cutsman, prospective opponents are probably more scared of getting covered with vile, bacteria laden fluids from the grotesque inbred freak.

I don't know what you were expecting. Hughie was in with a late substitute. He is not a big puncher and never will be, but there's more than one way to skin a cat. He dominated the fight and beat what was put in front of him.

Not quite sure how you can say a 21year old will never be a big puncher? Got bags of time to develop yet.

I'll be honest, I'm a fan of Hughie and have been since I saw his pro debut (such poise!!!) but he'll never be a big puncher. His KO ratio may improve or get worse but he'll never be a big puncher.

And I don't care. He has such lovely boxing skills & ring generalmanship for such a young lad I just hope he keeps developing.

I was channel surfing between the football and Spike trying to catch Hughie's fight with the plan B of watching it this morning if I missed it, but now I guess there isn't any footage out there at all?

I think generally you are either a big puncher or not and he ain't , top contenders will walk through his pitter patter punches .

The guys 21, still a baby his power will develop, he's not a big puncher now but that's not to say when he's in his mid 20's he won't be.

Don't see the need for the personal insults. Lots of youngsters have acne, it just do happens this one has to brave the public by virtue of his job. Give him s break.

I don't think Hughie is ever going to be a power puncher but, I do think in a few years he'll develop enough of a pop to his punches to be an alright accumulative puncher and keep opponents off him. Never going to have a great KO record, but he'll develop enough sting so fighters don't just walk through his jabs.

It's easy to say people will go straight though his punches, but as his cousin has shown even a feint is often enough to stop an attack. Also that assumes he can't keep moving backwards, or clinch if needed, which is a pretty silly assumption.

It's easy to say people will go straight though his punches, but as his cousin has shown even a feint is often enough to stop an attack. Also that assumes he can't keep moving backwards, or clinch if needed, which is a pretty silly assumption.

A feint only works if there is potential threat behind it. Tyson can get away with it because he can bang a bit.

If Hughie can't (we'll have to wait and see) then as soon as he lands clean and his opponent realises "This guy is no KO threat" then the feint achieves nothing.

Clinching only works if you're strong/big enough to do it and moving backwards repeatedly is one surefire way to lose on points.

I'm not saying he doesn't have power, or won't develop it as he gets older but if he doesn't then he's a heavyweight without a considerable KO threat and therefore not elite level.
