Where the hell have Vasili Jirov and Bernard Hopkins disappeared to? There names disappeared from the rankings a couple of weeks ago and I haven't heard about either of them retiring.
When fighters haven't fought in more than a year, they're considered inactive. When they fight again, they'll be back in the ratings ofcourse.
The one-year limit is meant to avoid having retired fighters blocking the ratings, but there has recently been a discussion here to extend that period.
