Canelo's resume is more than sideways. Lara-Kirkland-Kahn(moving up in weight) that is sideways. I love how all the Mexicans and HBO went crazy over that Kirkland KO, a sitting duck. Now he is fighting Kahn at some bullshit made up weight class that HBO is sponsoring along with cross-dressing addict DLH. Gimmie a break and I still think Kahn still may have a chance to win. But that is because I do no think much of Alvarez who's resume is lame.

Exactly. And by that time no one will really care. Typical boxing.Tanzio wrote:I don't think that GingerHead will fight 3G for at least 2 more years.Lancenix wrote:HBO will spin it as a big win that is for sure. ward doesnt need to fight kovalev right away...but lancienx is right, ward wasnt 100 % on boxing kovalev. i dont buy the "its not if but when" bullcrap....a fight of this magnitude that fans want so much and media wants so much you either say "i dont want to fight the guy" or "i want to fight him!" loud and clear.
but one thing is sure, ward needs a step up. he defeated an undefeated good boxer, a c level opponent, lets see how he deals with b level, like jürgen brähmer, fonfara or jean pascal, than its time for a level -krusher-, i dont want to see ward against c level again.no excuses.

Ward v Pascal or Fonfara or Beterbiev would be of interest.Chepppaaa wrote:Tanzio wrote:I don't think that Ward should be expected to fight Krusher in June. of a lot of interrest. fonfara made himself a name by his fighting style. jean pascal is alreay a star and as far as bertebiev, he is not much known, but he is too damn good to be overlooked.
Re: Judging from the weigh in and from my own expertise
Pascal is shot. I disagree. That would be another sideways fight. There is not any excuse why Kovalev should not be next. If he is not next than ward knows he cannot beat him.Tanzio wrote:Ward v Pascal or Fonfara or Beterbiev would be of interest.Chepppaaa wrote:Tanzio wrote: I don't think that Ward should be expected to fight Krusher in June. i would have no problems if he does 1 fight before kovalev, if than 100 % kovalev fight happens end of the year or february 2017...etcLancenix wrote:Pascal is shot. I disagree. 1-2 fights before boxing the divisions #1 is okay to me. but in certain way its true, like floyd ducked prime paul williams, prime antonio margarito, prime pacquiao and canelo right now ducking prime ggg, it realy doesnt feel good to wait for what is arguably the best match up in boxing.
sad that kovalev doesnt have a promoter like rabyinski, somebody who would put so many millions on the table, that it simply would be impossible to not fight kovalev
lets face it, wilder would never go tu russia, but rabinski offered so much €€€€ that wilder just had to say yes. at the end money decides what happens.

If Kovalev is next than Ward is sitting out for another 8 months. That fight is signed for November, sounds like Dre is going to try and negotiate his second tune up to be later than June. It's going to happen.
Re: Judging from the weigh in and from my own expertise
Pascal is of no interest actually that guy is shot. Why do you keep bringing him up??Tanzio wrote:Ward v Pascal or Fonfara or Beterbiev would be of interest.Chepppaaa wrote:Tanzio wrote: I don't think that Ward should be expected to fight Krusher in June. This is exactly why boxing sucks and nobody cares about it. Ward beat someone out of his league, a wide decision and a fight that would put the crankiest baby to sleep and you guys want him to fight more fights just like that one. Boxing is the sport where matchups don't happen and that is why thew sport is in the gutter.Chepppaaa wrote:i would have no problems if he does 1 fight before kovalev, if than 100 % kovalev fight happens end of the year or february 2017...etcLancenix wrote:Pascal is shot. didnt you read what i said? i wrote that i would have no problem if ward fought 1 fight before facing kovalev, but i sure do want the fight to happen and not in 2 years but this end of this year. if ward faced and wins against o the top 10 guys and than faces kovalev, than everything is okay.
to the subject of big fights not happening i am totaly on your side, its a disgrace, the only sport in which regurarly the best dont face the best is boxing, in every other sportthe best face the best, except boxing, shame.
