Re: Next For Kell Brook?
anyone with a pulse
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Danny Garcia would be a class name to face and would be a good scrap, both are powerful and good boxers.

Re: Next For Kell Brook?
It will be someone sh1t
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
My money is on Bradley Skeete
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
That'd be good for Skeete but not for viewers or Brook's credibility, 4 weak opponents on the trot is pushing it.veriton wrote:My money is on Bradley Skeete
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
I voted Garcia because that's the fight I'd like to see the most but any of the names mentioned would be something to look forward to.
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
i was taking the piss mate, because brook is going backwards. but i would like to see skeete v bizier.palooka wrote:That'd be good for Skeete but not for viewers or Brook's credibility, 4 weak opponents on the trot is pushing it.veriton wrote:My money is on Bradley Skeete

Re: Next For Kell Brook?
i think Garcia would be a great match-up for Brook. He's desperate for a big matchup. I feel sorry for him somewhat.
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Dunno. If Bizier came confident and with a bit of ambition then yeah. I thought he was a beaten man before he got in the ring last night.veriton wrote:i was taking the piss mate, because brook is going backwards. but i would like to see skeete v bizier.palooka wrote:That'd be good for Skeete but not for viewers or Brook's credibility, 4 weak opponents on the trot is pushing it.veriton wrote:My money is on Bradley Skeete
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
It should be Garcia. However judging by his past fights it's more likely to be Sam Eggington and Randall Bailey...
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
tough job for hearn......pac is fighting bradley.........khan fighting canelo..........thurman porter and garcia all with al haymon.........vargas?????.................
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Thurman/Porter don't fight until June 26th, so won't be ready to fight again until about September, Kell needs to fight again before then.
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
it will be berto/ortiz winner or gerrero
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
I'd be more than happy to see him fight anyone on that list, apart from GGG, that would be ridiculous.

fornicate that! Whoever beats Bizier next automatically becomes mandatory as per IBF rules state.veriton wrote:i was taking the piss mate, because brook is going backwards. but i would like to see skeete v bizier.palooka wrote:That'd be good for Skeete but not for viewers or Brook's credibility, 4 weak opponents on the trot is pushing it.veriton wrote:My money is on Bradley Skeete
In all seriousness I Would happily pay £16.99 to see him brutally knockout Garcia and shut his idiot dad up.

I'd like to see his dad get a scheme booting! What an absolute ball bag of a man!Larrylefthook wrote:eff that! Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Brooks problem is that he's unknown over here in Yankville.
If he wants to fight one of the top names at home in Blighty Eddie will have to pay well.
I remember having this conversation on here even the Khan fight was being mooted last year. Khan is a name here, Brook is not.
I like Kel but they need to do something dramatic before it's too late.
Either that or just fight every two months until he becomes viable for the US market

Re: Next For Kell Brook?
They should go for Garcia. Don't think Garcia is a big puncher at 147, Brook would outbox him imo.
Can't believe Watt was hoping for Berto or Guerrero, that's probably what we'll end up with unfortunately.

I'd like to see him in with Bradley or Garcia
There's more chance of seeing him in with Junior Witter

Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Do people really expect him to face someone actually good?
It'll be a voluntary defence against some schmuck. My guess is Brandon Rios or Alvarado.

Garcia for me. It would be an easy sell and I think Brook would take him apart and look a million dollars doing so.

Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Agree. My only question would be whether Garcia would take the fight. I think he would know he is outmatched vs brook.lillywhite14 wrote:Garcia for me. It would be an easy sell and I think Brook would take him apart and look a million dollars doing so.
This is Brooks main obstacle. The people inside boxing recognise his skills and know he is extremely dangerous. The public don't. Therefore it is high risk/low reward.
I think the 'Premier League' fighters won't touch him. He is shopping in the 'championship' for fights. What's Devon Alexander doing?
Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Alexander unanimously lost to Aaron Martinez in his last fight and would be yet another soft opponent for Brook...by the time of the fight it would be around 2 years since Alexander won.Old Jack J wrote:Agree. Re: Next For Kell Brook?
Unfortunately these are the names i fear are on his shopping list. He has to take a risky fight and less money to get an A list fighter. I really hope he goes to the US and fights Garcia. He could end up like Calzaghe.crusader wrote:Alexander unanimously lost to Aaron Martinez in his last fight and would be yet another soft opponent for Brook...by the time of the fight it would be around 2 years since Alexander won.Old Jack J wrote:Agree.
