Light heavyweight division is loaded

Post by Chepppaaa »

the division has never looked better. you wont find a year were there were so many quality boxers around!

what is so good about if, even if ward ducks kovalev. there is plenty to come. a level boxers. Oleksandr Gvozdyk is going to fight Nadjib Mohammedi (some may know him, kovalev kod him inside 3), nadjib, besides losing to kovalev is still a top 20 lh in the world, so if olek beats him, than he is right in the mix. a bout between him and kovalev would be a great fight, because unlike ward, olek is physicly a tall strong hard punching lh.

than there is Egor Mekhontsev, many of you arent so much impressed with him, but he still is a olympic gold medalist who beat usyk in the amateurs, who is considered by many experts as the future #1 cruiserweight in the world.

last but not least, bertebiev, you all know the deal.

Those are some solid names, but don't forget about Barrera, Gonzalez, Stevenson, Fonfora, Alvarez, Braehmer, and Shabranskyy.

I heard a rumbling that Shabranskyy was very interested in Ward. I saw him live at Turning Stone, and I was impressed. That would be a nice fight.

For me, along with cruiserweight, it's the strongest division in boxing. A lot of depth to it and some cracking fighters.

The only thing that lets it down is that the top 3 of Kov, Ward and Stevenson aren't going to fight each other because Ward and Stevenson are duckers.

I reckon Beterbiev and Kovalev will definitely happen next year though.

dude, absolutly, that guy shabransky has some good power. very tall strong dude. the way he fought gonzales impressed me. normaly gonzales is the bully, but this time the bully got bulliied. poor ward, he picked the thoughest division in boxing, i doubt he can hang with those guys.

yeah the duck game is the biggest problem in proffesional boxing.

luckily kovalev and bertebiev might be the 2 best lh in the world. adonis is past prime and ward cant handle these big punchers. kovalev is 1, bertebiev is 2. so if they fight i am fine, still a shame what adonis etc. are doing. adonis always talking and talking about wanting to fight kova and than poo happens.....same for ward, talking about stune up fights, so when is than the big fight gonne happen, in 2019 when everybody is past prime, just like floyd-pac..
