Glen McCrory the Sky/Matchroom puppet

Post by Supremo »

Sitting reading boxing monthly this morning. They have a preview of Khan vs Canelo and ask 26 figures in boxing about Khan's chances of an upset. Instead of giving respect to Khan for taking the challenge and offering their insight McCrory, and Barry Hearn bring up Kell Brook. McCrory asks, "why doesn't he just fight Kell Brook?"
Pathetic how much of a cheerleader he is for his paymasters. Get a mind of your own Glenn.

Agreed

Some of the pundits in sky don't deserve a job

Bellew is good in fairness to him and froch I like

Get the current boxers to replace watt

I was never a pro boxer and I honestly score fights better than watt

I'm not sure I respect the foolishness of the fight, why didn't he just fight Kell Brook? That this fight is even happening is a sad indictment of the current state of boxing. It's a joke of a fight, and I think the WBC, Goldenboy and Canelo should all be ashamed of themselves for even entertaining it.

Froch is a pure Sky propagandist. Shame really I thought he had more about him than hawking PPVs.

If it was Kell fighting him, they would all be right up his arse.

"Joke of a fight" is the type of fight that Sky broadcast on Saturday night with a woefully mismatched Blizier- not Kell's fault- he had to face him as a mandatory but it was a farce and everyone knew before hand it was a farce.

2 of the top names in boxing fighting in Vegas is not a "joke of a fight" Khan is a heavy underdog but he has a chance of winning and it will be interesting and entertaining if he can stick to the plan and keep moving.

Jim watt gets slated but at least he gives his honest opinion and doesn't pander to his paymasters wishes like McCrory. The propaganda that we are fed from those affiliated with Sky is a complete insult to the intelligence of anyone with half a clue about boxing. But they don't care what we think all they care about is pulling the wool over the eyes of the majority who have a passing interest.

Hawling's the worst I'm sure he honestly goes in there with a pre perceived script of the fight (obviously pushing the Matchroom agenda) and trys to make the fight fit it whether it does or not!

Kell brook seems like a bit of a tosser, I hope khan doesn't fight him ever. Khan is not afraid t take a risk unlike brook who is treading water hoping he wont have to travel to fight.

Looking forward to Khan fight and credit to him for taking the risk. He was the one treading water before trying to cash in and with May and Pac out of the picture Alvarez was the next best thing. I have to say I'd have much rather of seen him fight Brook. If Khan goes in and gets flattened against Canelo I think the Brook fight loses its value. I know Khan says 'the Brook fight will always be there'. I'm not so sure.

On the other hand certain pundits at Sky are hypocrites. If Brook had passed up on Khan to face Canelo, GGG or even a past his best Cotto then Adam, Johnny and co would be jizzing all over each other.

Great point. Wouldn't it be good if no British rivals ever face each other.
Khan boxed Algieri last year instead of fighting Brook at Wembley and instead of watching a fight the whole nation got a good night's sleep.

I like big Glenn.

Halling is the most byist of the lot by a country mile.
I can imagine he'd pick Yafai to beat Fury if Matchroom asked him to.
