Put it this way, if Wlad gave Mago so much as a ten dollar bill for the time being, it might wind up costing him tens of millions. It's gone beyond his personal desire to helpmor not. Using UK law as an example the second a single penny is accepted that would be the end of any possible financial claim. It is also possible to make a payment on the proviso that no liability is accepted nor implied. Legal issues vary from country to country of course.

Yep, I question myself when something like that happens. At the same time I know I'm hooked and it won't stop me following the sport. I don't watch recorded fights though when I know one of the guys got injured, it puts me off.

I was a little surprised that given the outcome of the contest Channel 5 + 24 kept the show on the schedule. I expected it to be replaced with something else.

I don't question myself as a boxing fan.
Boxers realise the risks, though perhaps don't genuinely think it will ever happen to them, similar to racing drivers.
I have often wondered if that is why a disproportionately high number of boxers seem to be Christians.

Nothing is risk free, but boxing clearly does put a lot on the line, they clearly deserve a lot of respect, but I think combat is so fundamental to human nature.
