I doubt there's an Aussie who doesn't hope he is innocent. But once a testing agency has a positive test on you you are really in deep water.convict wrote:Here's the thing, There were photos and a interview of him back in early January where he looked extremely buffed, I believe back then he had already lost around 15 pound. I know its possible to lose body fat fast from hard work - Also in this short period he changed the way he fought.Like a Boss wrote:Unfortunately what he is alleged to have taken is consistent with his sudden change of body shape and being able to come in about 20 pounds lighter than some of his earlier fights.Lairdy wrote:That could explain how his body shape changed so fast. But i really hope I'm wrong! Extremely disappointed!
Changing your fighting style for a title fight is way harder then losing weight for a weightless division.
I want to believe he didn't cheat, And there was a lot of political puppets there backing Chagaev?. It would be a massive downer if Browne was guilty.

lol.Brute wrote:VADA is based in Las Vegas, which is something like being based in Cicero, Illinois in the 1920s.Perseus wrote:I'm interested in the results from the commission drug test. VADA was used for this fight but they have no actual authority.
IF the commission tested the fighters did Browne pop positive on their test as well?
Yes, I know VADA testing is a higher standard and is not likely to be ignored but the commission has the authority.
VADA catching him makes it tougher to defend Browne.
EVERYBODY is suspicious of the commissions over there which is probably the reason that VADA was involved in this.
The Browne camp was smart enough to protect themselves against any suspicious activity from the commission but they obviously were not ready for VADA.
What a stupid statement.
EVERYBODY is crooked but the guy who failed a drug test according according to you.
Browne is such an important person in the world there is a huge conspiracy out there to stop him winning a title belt
Any drug testing agency that tests him positive was clearly trying to set him up

There are numerous medications you can buy across the counter that elite athletes are banned from taking.Brute wrote:Clenbuterol is an across the counter asthma medication under other names. After the Sam Soliman case where the IBF refused to reinstate his belt after his b sample was cleared by an independent laboratory I take all of these stories with a grain of salt.Redback Rasta wrote:Rumours doing the rounds Lucas Browne may have failed a drug test and tested positive to clenbuterol.
