Can Martin weather the storm of the first few round's ?

Joshua will throw the kitchen sink at him , listening to Martin in the build up he knows Joshua will fall apart in the championship rounds

I suspect that Martin is better than many give him credit for, but watching him lean straight back with his hands down I can't help but think that's he's going to be caught with something big in the first few rounds.

Martin Will tighten up his game for Joshua if he has any sense

Martin could be an awkward customer with his southpaw stance. I could take the bookies to the cleaners with this fight

I hope Martin sparks him.

Can't stand Joshua and can't stand Haye and I know Haye is hoping to get his greedy little hands on a shot vs Joshua now that Fury won't give him the time of day.

For all intents and purposes it strikes me like a deal has been made to enhance the Heavyweight elite, with Wilder going to Russia and Joshua getting a shot signals big moves North of the divisions.

That draw on Martin's record looks terrible

He drew with a blown up welterweight

It is, but there are plenty of other people who deserve a title shot before Haye. I'd hate to see him waltz into another title shot after beating De Mori and Gurgle or whatever his name is.

Reading the forums on the net a lot of fans are picking Martin

Why has Joshua bulked up in weight so much , he does not look natural , this is boxing not a bodybuilding competition

Joshua was athletic in the Olympics , fast hands and world class stamina , he was giving camereli a pasting in the third round

Now Joshua was tired in the third round v whyte ,when you get tired in a fight a girl can knock you out

Martin hasn't been anywhere near 'the championship rounds' himself so he may not cope any better?

Martin has a ko win in round ten , listen to what both fighters are saying ,Martin is planing to take the fight to the late rounds talking about Joshua getting tired

Joshua fears being drowned , it's scary for a fighter to swim in unknown waters

A KO win on round ten over a bloke Joshua did in two

Having seen Zumbano Love maintain a 'respectful distance' from Shannon Briggs for twelve I wouldn't image that Martin was under any undue pressure on route to his round ten KO win.

Joshua does not have the experience to pace himself , i think he will go in to panic mode , listening to him talk he fears going ten plus rounds

Meanwhile Martin is planning to drown him , interesting fight

Perhaps the fight can be put a little better in perspective by how each man did against a common opponent.

While it is by no means the final word- styles DO sometimes make fights- it can be a window into what may happen.

The common opponent is Raphael Zumbano Love. Martin fought him first, scoring a 10th round KO.

Here it is:

After rebounding with a KO of his own of one Esteban Tababary, Love faced Joshua
just under 10 weeks later and was dispatched inside of 2 rounds. Here is that full fight and KO:

I conclude Joshua is a little better  Best bit was the commentator who said Martin is like a HW Manny PAC . I think this will be easier than the Whyte fight.

The best hw on the planet is Tyson fury if he traded with Joshua he would be pole axed but Tyson fury is smart he would switch hit and mess joshua about wear him down and after 5 rounds switch gears and drown him

Martin is not going to stand toe to toe with Joshua like whyte did that would be suicide , not even fury could do that and he sits on the throne

Yeah Fury would just shut him out. It would be a wank fight, pretty much Fury on the defensive and landing just enough to edge the rounds whilst Joshua gets flustered by Fury's awkward style.

Fury is really underrated. Not great to watch at times, but a very skilled and very awkward boxer with his changing the stance, switching to the body and his footwork. Packs enough of a punch to make him dangerous too.
