Has Floyd/Broner Been Planned

Post by Impractical Poster »

Has the beef between the two been planned out for Floyd's 50th fight? I get the feeling that this beef has been staged to create a big pay day for the two and an exciting farewell fight for the money man.

Thoughts...

Probably.

Floyd obviously doesn't need Broner to sell a fight but I think he likes that kid for some reason and wants to help him out with a pity party payday. Not sure why since he will just blow the money in 2 wks. Because he's an idiot.

No. Floyd is not coming back to fight him. Broner would never take thaT FIGHT AND HE IS PROBABLY GOING TO THE SLAMMER ANYWAY.

It kinda feels that way. If we don't start hearing talk of Mayweather vs Broner by the end of the year from Mayweather then maybe it's just Broner dreaming of a big payday that he knows only Mayweather could bring.

But right now, yeah it very much feels staged and like all this has been a work to set that up. Including pitting Broner vs Theophane, that fight never made sense at any point.

Broner would never take a career high payday? Uh sure he wouldn't. The whole world wants to fight Floyd. For obvious reason$.

Looks probable. Broner going to be extra annoying if he's got to see it though as Floyd could surely make more money with other opponents.

Absolutely not. Floyd wouldn't give AB that payday.

From the payout standpoint yes he would want the money. However, Broner has bigger fish to fry besides his upcoming legal trouble. He needs to figure out how he is going to continue to kill himself to keep getting down to 140 because he has already proven he is not good at 147 and he could not beat Porter at 144. So what is he supposed to do? He barely beat Malinaggi. And even Tarver laughed at that being a quality win. Get over this dude as soon as you can. You are reaching and hoping for a star that is simply not gonna be there. If he is so awesome at 140 then why does he not fight Crawford or Postol? He wants to pretend to be a champ without actually beating the best guys at the weight. Broner is a fraud and I am glad Chino wrecked his life and had him running back to his locker room crying that was great!!

Broner vs Crawford or Postol? Arum vs Haymon. Not enough money to make that happen.

That is a big problem in boxing no doubt.
