Broner Dazzles...Calls Out Floyd??!!!
Broner's performance last night was fantastic and his skills continue to evolve like i've been trying to tell all of the doubters on this site. That makes it two straight KO's since discovering his one punch power in the 12th round against Porter. Two straight KO's against two tough fighters that have never been knocked out before, I might add. The uppercuts were deadly last night but I was more impressed with Broner's jab early. He was throwing it with power and it immediately started doing damage. Though I still do not like the moments of inactivity in which he doesn't return fire and take shots, I give him an A for his performance last night and i think it's about time people start considering him elite.
I LOVED that he called out Floyd last night and the way he did it. Floyd has been harsh on Broner for years and undressing him in public on multiple occasions and AB had finally had it. Whether the spat was scripted or not, I like the fight a lot actually. The promoters line up. The storyline is a great one and the prefight build up would be wildly entertaining. People would pay to see this one. But the biggest reason why i think that this fight will happen?
It's literally the ONLY fight where Floyd would clearly be the fan favorite.
The Rocky Marciano fans will be a little more accepting to the record breaking if Floyd does it while shutting up the brash Broner. Floyd's been boo'd in his last handful of fights so this would be a way for Floyd to go out with cheers and i'm sure that means a lot to him. It's actually a perfect scenario for Floyd to say goodbye.
But will the fight be any good?

I'd "dazzle" facing Theophane... and I've never boxed in my life and currently have a broken leg.
Re: Broner Dazzles...Calls Out Floyd??!!!
People actually believe the Broner pantomime? He's garbage, his persona is the fakest nonsense going and i suspect him and Floyd are actually plotting a matchup with the little theatre they have manufactured out of nothing.... but i'm kinda hoping it's just a ploy to keep TUEweather relevant now the dust has settled on his drug-cheat scandal. Floyd vs Broner would be worse than Berto.
Re: Broner Dazzles...Calls Out Floyd??!!!
Great win By Broner now lie down and crawl doubters!
Re: Broner Dazzles...Calls Out Floyd??!!!
Nah no dazzling, not even the best fight he was in this week
Re: Broner Dazzles...Calls Out Floyd??!!!
Too bad Broner is such a JERK OUTSIDE the ring.
Because I kind of like his style INSIDE the ring.

Re: Broner Dazzles...Calls Out Floyd??!!!
The only reason this dude (Caldo) made this post was to hate on Floyd, notice how he couldn't wait to add that part about Mayweather, he is the Ultimate Troll on Floyd on this forum even surpassing Ricky (maybe the same person) but he knows damn well if his beloved Manny Pacquiao couldn't touch Floyd that there's no reason to believe that Adrien Broner out of all people would be able to unless you just saying this because you Hate Floyd.Counter-puncher wrote:Broner 'dazzles'..... beating some due three levels below world level...
Broner was lucky to get that garbage stoppage, it was a clear low blow that hurt Theophane that he was complaining about then realize that the Ref had no intention on doing anything about so he started telling the ref that "I'm ok" you can clearly see that from the replay that he was stating that over and over and then Broner throws punches in the midst of Ashley saying that and the Ref automatically waves off the fight on a fighter who was clearly evading the attack and using his legs to defend himself.
One of the worse stoppages I've ever seen, anyone else who's believing Broner did something so special is only jockriding that piece of sh*t because they hate Mayweather.
Floyd would mop the floor with Broner, he won't get touched by any of that predictable, slow and methodically plodding crap that Adrien was throwing at Theophane, if he can make Manny who is far faster in footwork and handspeed than Broner miss then imagine what happens to the slow footed, slow punching Adrien.

Only a compete imbecile would take anything from that performance. We've already seen Broner at world level. We know he's not good enough. He arguably lost to Paulie too for Christ sake.

Broner will never get respect. His only two losses was when he tried to fight in a weight class that he shouldn't be in.
Or shouldn't have been in at that point in his career. Or maybe he shouldn't have fought two of the strongest guys in the division.
Under 140, Broner is a dangerous fighter, only Crawford (and maybe Postol) can be favored above him.
And let's not act like Crawford can't be hit and hurt.
And let's not act like Postol might be too slow.
But whatever, his personal life, which is none of our business and affects no one here, makes people not like him.

Paulie landed a lot of punches that haters score.
Like the people who scored DLH's pathetic looking clinch body shots against Floyd.
If GGG walks through the same slaps, and lands the MUCH HARDER punches,
everyone would score for GGG.
We should be pushing for Broner/Crawford or Broner/Postol. He is very relevant at 140.
Stop hating.

Broner may never be able to make 140 again. He is a 147 guy by the way and kills himself to get to 140 and this time he could not even do it. What you meant to say is that Broner cannot fight at the weight he is supposed to be at. Glad I could correct that for you.BAD INTENTIONS wrote:Broner will never get respect. By the way the fight against Porter was at 144 pounds or so because Broners's bitch ass would not fight Porter at 147. So your boy Broner could not even beat Porter after he tried to weight drain him. A pity is it not?

I've yet to see the fight but I strongly suspect you are seriously over-selling Broner based on a performance against a dud.caldo2025 wrote:Broner's performance last night was fantastic and his skills continue to evolve like i've been trying to tell all of the doubters on this site. Going purely off the reaction of posters on here to the fight even being made, I'm surprised anyone has come on to big up AB on the strength of any showing against Theophane.
As for the Mayweather vs Broner panto. I found it tedious when they were bro's and I find this bickering even more tedious now they're having a public lovers tiff. Broner is a goon and his out of the ring antics are pathetic.
I do however see a great deal of logic in what you say about a potential match up between the 2. Mayweather selling the good guy angle before he signs off with a record breaking win and pleases the punters by beating up the bad guy, meanwhile boosting Broners profile.
I don't like the fight and, having seen Broner beaten twice, am in no great rush to see him lose again. All it does is hype a fight that doesn't need to happen, into something it isn't, gets both men a huge payday and plays into their hands.
Would the fight be any good? Can't see it.
