Golden oldies

Post by davie »

Archie Moore at 45 vs Bernard Hopkins at 45
Who wins and how?

The Old Mongoose was still knocking guys out at that age, but at that age (or any age) nobody, not even Kovalev, was knocking out the Alien.

I actually think this might be a fight where Bernard comes out of his shell and I think it could have been fairly easy on the eye.

over 12 I'm going to go 116-113 Moore

I thought about it over 12 and 15 and I think a Moore points win would be the outcome either way. Not sure it makes a whole lot of difference.
Think Bernard was arguably the fittest 40-something ever so might have come on late, but just can't see him winning

Agree, the Mongoose wins a decision over 12 or 15
