Wow,I've believed for a while now that Smith's world class and Mohoumadi may only be European class but that's mighty impressive from Callum there, another demolition job against a proven durable fighter,I loved that short left hook he tagged Hadillah with to get the ball rolling and once he hurt him it was curtains

Callum Smith=my fav non world titlist fighter he's got the frigging lot

Callum is doing it against higher level opponents, I hope he does't have a Bredis Prescott moment as he was caught a few times tonight.

Khan was getting shaken up by non punchers though.

Callum looks pretty sturdy.

Bellew does a good job.... But the sky 'presenters' are awful! Nelson says some odd things and Ed Robinson is just awfully awkward with his high pitched voice and exaggerated gesticulation. Christ can you imagine him presenting with Ronald MCintosh??? The pain would be terrible....

Callum was ranked 8th by the WBA and Mohoumadi was ranked 6th before this fight.

How much more will Callum have to do to get the mandatory spot with them?

I think that's a better option than going for the WBC title right now.

Ed Robinson isn't perfect but I think he should be running boxing for Sky. He's been in the game, he has been with Sky a long time, he would know exactly what the fans want and I think he would make for a far better chief than Smith or even Francis... He has the intelligence to steer the ship and he is 'in touch' enough with the current situation to be able to make a change and make things better. I genuinely think he would make Sky a better platform for boxing than it is at the moment. Nothing against Adam Smith because I don't mind him but I am all about progression at these big companies. We pay the silly money so we should be allowed a say.

Give Felix his pension money and go to Germany and knock him out. The publicity he will get will make him a star, no one wants to go to Germany for fear of all sorts. As correct as Sturm is its not even close, it does not go six rounds.

Why wait for the winner of the little 4 man comp thats going on, be pro active, it has to be worth some noise, even if Sturm says no the publicity will give Smith huge kudos.

Would give smith a name but not much else. Oh sorry and a title. I am a bit dismayed with titles nowadays if I'm honest. A win against Sturm would add to Callum's rep but I doubt he would learn anything from it.

Sturm would be his best opponent to date. He may well learn something from it.

Let's not get crazy and start talking about almost everyone in the division being a 'waste of his time'.

Picking up the WBA title sets him up for a lot of big fights and that's the belt he should go for.

You are right in one sense but he would get a title and learn to win away from home, that could be a very good lesson.

He does know his boxing and is popular within the game and that is a plus. But his presenting 'skills' are dreadful, I mean really, do you think he'd have a job presenting a more well known sport? Also he has no business experience, no way would he be able to run a project that big. Adam Smith is constrained by commercial decisions. Sky boxing is what it is because of commercial reasons (it's a Murdoch company!).... It's not as if anyone, especially that low down in the pecking order, would impact that. SKY boxing is about rinsing the customer for cash - including PPV, stuffing shows with adverts and supporting the lucrative football. They
Had a monopoly at one time. But that's well gone.

Sky are sh1tting themselves.... Murdoch hasn't got long, their technology is outdated and costly. They are still relying on very costly satellite installations and haven't kept up with the times. I predict Sky will go bust when Murdoch passes, and as a boxing fan, as well as someone who hates monopolies and a lack of fairness..... I can't wait

Horse, Sturm is so far past his best that 'his best' is a distant memory. I don't think that Smith would learn a lot for beating him. I don't think that Sturm I completely useless but a Smith win wouldn't teach much.

Yeah you're right there mate. Would he learn anything else though? I think Smith is a good enough fighter to make these decisions for himself..

Who's Smith fought that's better? I see no reason to believe that Sturm can't teach Smith a thing or two.

Sturm is the one they should be gunning for. Plenty of good fights for Smith once he's got a title.

I like your opinion and I respect you as a poster. If Sky are bricking it then I must be in the wrong game. I love good fights and a fair outcome. Anyone else who feels the same should go for Ed Robinson. If he doesn't tick the masses then he should be allowed the chance...
