Think the whole Ring magazine trainer of the year thing went to his head a bit. Seems to want as much limelight and credit as his fighters get, which shouldn't happen. Was a pleasure to see the smugness wiped off his face when Frampton beat Quigg.
I actually find myself rooting against some of his fighters because of him. Although I do like Callum (Smith), Liam and Swifty.
Quigg wasn't a champion - he never boxed Rigo. Liam Smith beat no.49 in world to win his "title" and defended against no.87. Crolla drew with no.37 before beating him in the rematch.
His tactics for Quigg's fights (Salinas and Frampton) and Cardle on Saturday have been poor and Paul Smith's condition v Andre Ward was a joke.
If the Smith brothers decided to move to Oliver Harrison would he be classed as a wonder trainer for having a big stable?
