Ramirez vs Abraham

Post by diddy »

Someone talk me out of loading up on Gilby. Outside of Germany how does AA throw enough punches to actually win this fight?

Thoughts?

It's tough for me to see past Ramirez here. He's nothing special, but he puts his punches together well, stays busy, and has a strong body attack, and I think that's the type of thing that will cause AA nightmares as the away fighter.

I like Ramirez via UD myself. Like you Diddy I just don't think AA is busy enough and I don't think he knocks out Ramirez. He's gonna have to get the stoppage to win I think.

Ramirez's chin hasn't really been tested, so I give Abraham at least 30% puncher's chance.

Derek Edwards and Maxim Vlasov are not light hitters. Watch Chilemba's, who looks to have a very solid chin, fight against him. Chilemba was almost put out. Ramirez went toe-to-toe with Vlasov. Ramirez's chin is fine. He'll walk right through Abraham.

I see no way Abraham wins. Ramirez is bigger, younger, stronger, and he loves to fight in wars. Abraham is too small, and his high-guard come forward style won't work on Ramirez.

Vlasov had to come down 5 pounds when fighting Ramirez, and he was complaining about that. He is a cruiserweight now.

I wouldn't put money on Abraham, but once again, I don't believe that Zurdo's chin has been tested well.

Zurdo doesn't have a defense first style, though. Someone with Zurdo's style and a bad chin can be spotted very easily. This, especially, considering the guys he fought like Vlasov and Edwards.

Edwards would've had Ramirez face-down like he did Jack if he had a bad chin.

I see Abraham getting outworked and losing a close decision.
Must of took big money to get him out of Germany.
