slow updating

Post by joeborg »

Can you please clarify why a professional show organized by Prizeboxing Promotions in Malta, on Friday the 11th of March still has not been updated? The show was sanctioned by the Malta Boxing Association, which is affiliated with the European Boxing Union and the World Boxing Council, and all the fighter's are licensed, I see no reason why none of the results are yet updated on the fighter's record. Especially the main bout of the evening between Scott Dixon and Christian Schembri, which Schembri won by Split Decision, which was contested over 10 rounds for the MBA super middleweight title. Please find below the yet to be updated records of both fighters.

http://boxrec.com/boxer/9312 Dixon

The most perplexing thing of all is that even though Dixon's loss is yet to be listed on his record, he already has another fight scheduled on his record for 13/5/2016 under the Malta Boxing Commission, an association which was expelled from the EBU very recently and is not recognized by any of the major sanctioning bodies.

I look forward for your answer.

Lack of an official Commission document as suppporting evidence is the most common culprit of a fight card not being entered into boxrec.com . When a nation does not have a commission, for example: Thailand, other methods must be utilized to establish supervisor, matchmaker, and other entities (video, etc..) which clarify the event as legitimate. I, myself, am not involved with editing Europe, but I wanted to respond to your inquiry. :TU:
