Re: Macklin V Rose
I had rose just edging it. Both way past their peak though.
Re: Macklin V Rose
Pretty much same as me, sad to see really both past their best fight never really got going.......whats even worse is it was the only decently matched fight on a pay per view!PredatorHayds wrote:I had rose just edging it. Both way past their peak though.
Re: Macklin V Rose
Thought Macklin edged it in a close fight, 115-111 was too wide.
Re: Macklin V Rose
I'll go out on a limb here and say I thought Macklin won this clear. He bossed the early rounds.

That was the difference to me as well. I thought the early rounds won it for MM. It was a close one thoughchris123 wrote:I'll go out on a limb here and say I thought Macklin won this clear. He bossed the early rounds.

Got to agree to be honest, I had Macklin by 3 rounds, I thought I was watching a different fight to be fair.Noxy wrote:That was the difference to me as well. I thought the early rounds won it for MM. Re: Macklin V Rose
I had Macklin winning comfortable. I thought he would be struggling after halfway but he kept plugging away so credit where credits due. He's still on the slide though. I don't see him competing beyond domestic level. Maybe he can fight Spike O'Sullivan in an Irish title fight or something. Both would make a few quid.
