How many fights do you need to watch to determine whether a man is inept or not? He isn't competent enough to qualify as mediocre.

Completely agree. As it happens I've perused a few of his fights and I could provide a pretty thorough list of his incompetencies. But I can't be bothered because it will all be exposed soon enough anyway.

Joshua will get more credit in the national press for this win than fury got after wlad. That will be the most irritating thing. I'd love to see him come unstuck, but more to see the look on eddies face than any dislike for AJ. (Tho he didn't deserve that gold)

All the circus that surrounds him and all the dick lickers lining up to tickle his belly button with their noses are beyond irritating but as a fighter I like him. I don't think he's the unstoppable force they're trying to build him up as though. Someone will end up cleaning his clock sooner or later.

He's a good fighter to watch, no doubt. Can't see anybody denying that.

in fairness........having watched some film of martin fighting......he boxes like an uneducated Audley Harrison. I am worried how low he holds his right hand as his backhand left is thrown (look at the video evidence)

If Joshua has a decent left hook counter then the fight might go 2 rounds at most. If Charles martin is gunshy and decides to 'move' then he might last 5.

His most recent fight. I understand you're trying to play devil's advocate but to what end? You're going to look very stupid in a few hours.

Martin will take a dive' at the first opportunity, he'll roll about and 'stumble' to his feet just as the ref counts him out. He'll then protest as Joshua and his entourage celebrate. This may happen either in the first or second round ,and EVERYONE watching will recognise what happened. Next week, the national press will again question the validity of professional boxing in this country, while Martin leaves the UK with millions of our cash - and who can blame him. Eddie Hearn will then consider carefully how he'll present Joshua as a 'world' champion after this disgrace.

By the way the odds are 7/1 on a first round KO and 6/1 for round two or three. I'm buying the grandchildren some toys on the
I hear what you are saying but I doubt it will be a dive. Joshua will knock him out without any issue in either round 1 or 2, but i doubt it will go longer. If my horse comes in at the National im putting everything on the round 1 double with Benn in that bet.

I think pretty much anyone who knows anything about boxing knows this is an easy night for AJ, but I would laugh my nuts of if Martin KO's him even though I have money on AJ. You can learn a lot about a fighter in three rounds. Biggest night of his life and he was dispassionate, languid, stood straight up, chin up, seems to push his punches, footwork ungainly.

What happens in the next few minutes will confirm Charles' mediocrity.
