Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
I got 5/1 on Hunter. Let's see what he can do with this start. not near a tv though. :(

LSC has ducked more then Selby has.ikorolev wrote:WTF are you talking about. What promotional agreements are in the way in Selby's case ? He was lucky to get the title from the mediocre champion and he knows that he would be destroyed by those three top featherweights.Lennox wrote:PERHAPS YOU ARE STUPID. Like BJS "wants" Golovkin ? For $5 mil ? Loma would have signed to fight Selby immediately. So would the other two.

Selby is a mediocre fighter.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Maybe, but he would fight Selby no problem.digzee wrote:LSC has ducked more then Selby has.ikorolev wrote:WTF are you talking about. What promotional agreements are in the way in Selby's case ? Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Selby in control now. Hunter is not doing enough.....it's been an issue for him before against lesser opposition.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Selby would NOT beat GRJ.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
He said he would fight Rigo too, he'll be back on his bum of the month tour.ikorolev wrote:Maybe, but he would fight Selby no problem.digzee wrote:LSC has ducked more then Selby has.ikorolev wrote:

Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
I'd bet he would, GRJ is too small and just throws for fun without great accuracy and hasn't even got a B level win yet.diddy wrote:Selby would NOT beat GRJ.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
I can see Selby beating GRJ, though I strongly doubt that he'd 'destroy' him.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Russell is a very good fighter. He lost a competitive fight to Lomo. Other than that he has dominated everyone. Selby has not. Selby would need that fight across the pond.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Ref being harsh on Hunter...two points deducted now.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
The referee of Selby vs Hunter is totally not impartial.

Unfortunately this is true. It's embarrassing to be a British boxing fan sometimes.ikorolev wrote:Regular practice in the U.K.geronimo wrote:The referee of Selby vs Hunter is totally not impartial.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Impartial ref in the UK? Noooooo.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Happens in every country, still bang out of order.

I actually chuckled out loud with that one.
Not that I think Selby would win, but if somebody feels that way, ok. Destroys?!? Russell gave Loma a pretty good fight.
I think I scored it 116-112. To me, it was a competitive fight. A clear win for Loma, but it wasn't like he won 120-108......

Regular practice in Germany too. Happens quite often in the U.S. and Russia as well.Boxerbeetle wrote:Unfortunately this is true. It's embarrassing to be a British boxing fan sometimes.ikorolev wrote:Regular practice in the U.K.geronimo wrote:The referee of Selby vs Hunter is totally not impartial.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
I had Loma beating GRJ 117-111. GRJ was hitting air pretty much all night but I gave him some rounds that Loma took off.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Gonzalez isn't a B level win?!?digzee wrote:I'd bet he would, GRJ is too small and just throws for fun without great accuracy and hasn't even got a B level win yet.diddy wrote:Selby would NOT beat GRJ.
Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
I had it wider, it was Loma's 3rd fight if they fought again it would be an even easier win.armageto wrote:digzee wrote:Only if hitting Loma's shadow counts as a punch.armageto wrote:

Re: Lee Selby vs Eric Hunter
Selby wins a UD but I didn't think he was impressive. Hunter's laziness has led to him giving away rounds before, and at this level it made it very difficult for him to win the fight.
