Manny Pacquiao vs Timothly Bradley III

Post by Ricky_ »

How does it go and where does it leave the winner and the loser?

I think Pacman takes it again, having been outclassed twice already by Pacquiao i'm not sure Bradley has added enough to his game and if he decides to push forward i think he might get stopped.

I don't think it will change Bradley's ranking much, he's still the guy Brook and Thurman will need to beat. As for Pac, a win i think sets him up for 1 more bout in September/November, possibly a farewell fight in Macau.

I think this fight may shape up to be on the level of The Planquiao. I'm not suggesting that Ramming Speed will Ktfo Pac with one perfect punch. I just think that both fighters have unfinished business related to this fight.

Pac winning or losing in another farce of a fight like Pac v FMJ undeniably was would be disastrous for both fighters' future marketability. I think that they are both coming to make a statement here. This is Pac's chance to cast further doubt on his loss to FMJ and this is Ramming Speed's chance to step into truly elite status and erase the (undeserved) stigma of the first fight, which I thought was the correct decision.

I am looking for a great fight that could go either way again but ends in a late stoppage one way or the other. I'm doing what I can to get a deal on upfront and personal tickets. Look for a gorgeous blonde with a balding prune.

In the PPV fight no one asked for and the matchup that hardly matters. The only question really is is this Pac's last fight? It seems it just might be. Other than that this fight has no luster at all and is nothing more than HBO trying to make a PPV out of a fight that should be on Fox Sports 1. Bradley is just an overrated guy propped up by HBO due to Pac's very short list of guys he would agree to fight. Don't forget that Pac chose to fight Algeri and Rios prior to the debacle against Floyd. Now he picks Bradley for a third fight. He does not want to fight anyone good. Even Marquez here is a better fight but he does not want Marquez anymore. Just a bullshit fight.

Konstantin Ponomarev took the unbeaten record of Canada's Mikael Zewski, now on the Pac-Bradley undercard he does the same to American Brad Solomon, whose career was hampered by questionable business decisions. I didn't see the fight, but from what I've read the consensus is that Ponomarev clearly deserved the victory and should consider himself unfortunate to only win by SD.

He looked mediocre when I first saw him (against Steve Claggett), but it seems he's made improvements. I suspect that he's still too basic and hittable to hang with the top guys in the division though.

The only sure thing about this fight is it will go all 12 rounds. As to who will get the decision, how can anyone possibly know that with what we have seen in this sport?

Good points. And that is if the judges do not fall asleep by the end of this farce. Who would pay 70 bucks for this PPV?? LOL

I couldn't get on the floor so I bagged it. It is not sold out but it will be by main event time. $800 per ticket for nosebleed wasn't happening.

That's what come forward style without having a good punch would do to you.

That's right. Manny is usually getting KO'ed in a 4th fight  A close controversial win today and getting flattened in the fall.

AA has basically no prayer in this fight. I can't believe how generous these odds are. Stealing. One minute is all I need to see.

Abraham has lost every round so far, Ramirez is scoring superbly to the body at times.

Ramirez is gonna win every round but I have a feeling GR is gonna be in survival mode in the championship rounds. Abraham is impossible to knock out.

I doubt that happens. Rameriz throws a lot of punches to begin with and he is fighting quite measured once again. I just do not see him tiring here.

As long as Ramirez keeps doing whats he's doing and boxes it relatively safely your bet looks good at this point.
Ramirez is a mile ahead on the cards, only a KO can really save Abraham it seems.

+210 by DEC. That's why the odds are what they are. Also have him just to win straight at -185.

Also have Bradley by (bogus) decision at +470. I think Pac wins the fight but a robbery is very possible. At those odds it's definitely worth a crack. I locked into that a month ago. I think the same bet is now +300 or so.
