Thoughts on Bradley

Post by DrunkenBoxer »

Even though Bradley lost against Manny last night, I think he did a good job under teddy atlas's guidance. Bradley used his jab effectively, showed good movement, was efficient with his punches and didn't really throw many punches out of position. Teddy stated to Bradley in the 10th round that he was still proud of him and that comment probably reflects to the fact that at least Bradley was trying to utilize Teddy's boxing tactics and implement the fight plan. In my opinion, Bradley has improved since pairing up with Teddy and if the relationship continues maybe Bradley will retain and execute more of Teddy Atlas's teaching in the ring during fight night.

Bradley was really good last night, he simply got beat by a HOF fighter who looked like he hasn't slipped that much. This third fight was by far the best of the trilogy and Bradley has nothing to be ashamed of as he gave a very good performance. Based on that performance last night I think he should be favoured to beat any of the other top welterweights.

Funny that, most people thought, the pac man was way past it when Mayweather schooled him.

Floyd made quite a few look way past it tbh. Also we don't really know if Pacquiao's shoulder really hindered him in that fight as he claimed afterwards.

Pac is "past it," as is FMJ. Last night a "past it" Pac defeated a future HOFer in a better fight than most expected.

I have only seen highlights of the fight.Ramming Speed appears to have fought well but got caught by Pac's sneaky left twice which resulted in the 116-110 cards.

What I am interested in is how people think those rounds would have been scored without the KDs.

I think that this is a demoralizing loss for Tim, but it actually opens up some great opportunities for him since the welter weight sharks now smell blood in the water. Team Ramming Speed is going to be getting a lot of calls real soon.

I agree with those who think that there are more than one welter who should be favored over Tim. But he will be no easy W for anyone in the division. He may not be an elite talent but who out there is?

I felt sorry for Bradley especially the 2 round's that he got knocked down in he looked more scared of going back to his corner to face Atlas then he was coming out of his corner to face Pacman in my opinion Altas did more damage then good the way he carried on during the fight sreaming and carrying on like a lunatic......................... Then after the fight Bradley said he couldn't remember much about the fight and that's a scary thought
if your Timothy Bradley especially the hard fight's he's been in lately I hope he sits back with a smile on his face smoking his Cuban cigar and marvels at his wonderful career he carved out and looks after his family with the fortune he's amassed over the year's and he can also say the only man to ever better me was one Manny Pacquiao that's something not many can say.

Bradley is just another propped up HBO fighter and in a day and age where Americans have so little to hold onto in the sport he works for this fake trilogy manufactured by HBO. Bradley is not even top 10 at 147. And I do not care what he did at 140 because he does not fight there anymore. He would not beat any of the top guys at 147 and a guy like Kell Brook would waste him within 6 rounds.

I think he'd beat Porter who I see as a slightly lesser version of him. A fight with him and Thurman would be 50/50 to me. It's possible he'd beat Brook though I'd favor Brook in that one. He'd own someone like Broner.

He's definitely Top 10 at 147.

I disagree. I want to see a Vargas/Bradley rematch. Vargas's team only got to work with him a few weeks before their first fight after Roy Jones had neglected his duties as a trainer. They are very confident in the rematch and I agree with them Vargas has grown and would dispatch Bradley in the rematch. Bradley would not even beat Sammy Vazquez. I will put that out there right now. At 147 this guy is way overrated.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Vargas rematch either, but I'd favor Tim to beat him again. Without being almost knocked out this time.
