I'll count myself in that group - what a boring evening of boxing that was. There wasn't really a single fight that made it worth the money.funso banjo baby wrote:this happens in boxing.
another Hayman fighter Yasmanay Consuegra gave up against Jon Wes Nofire.

The idiot public who pay for these fights are the real suckers

Looked to me like he didn't fancy it, from looking at him after the 2nd right hand he sat up and seemed to have his senses about him... grinning etc.
That said, I wasn't the one taking right hands from a 17 stone monster.

No, but you also weren't a professional boxer, world title belt holder, and being paid a large sum of money.Furey wrote:Looked to me like he didn't fancy it, from looking at him after the 2nd right hand he sat up and seemed to have his senses about him... grinning etc.

I thought that Martin's capitulation was pretty pathetic. He doesn't really look like a guy who takes the sport too seriously, given his conditioning, and the way he conducted himself. How he ever got a title shot, Christ only knows.

I'd also favour Glazkov.nitro5912 wrote:Which I think glazkov probably has a good chance of winning if his knee holds upPredatorHayds wrote:I thought he seriously lacked ambition.
He came for the payday and apart from a Glazkov rematch I can't see him in a big fight again.
I can see Main events going for the rematch straight away.
Knowing how the IBF are I can imagine a Glazkov win would put him right up near the top of the rankings.
