He also laid into it as you would expect.

Would this top Haye vs Audley as the weakest Heavyweight PPV ever? I think it might IMO.

Considering Smith's and Saunders' respective first defences he is hardly in a position to say anything.

Terrible opponent, I can't see it happening tbh, Takam\Parker winner would be most likely, get the mandatory out of the way to concentrate on bigger money fights.
If not Stiverne would be acceptable, at least he went the distance with Wilder.

Scott would have been a fair opponent before picking up the IBF strap, but now he would be a backward step.

Plus Stiverne has one punch KO power so I think it's an acceptable fight. I remember him banging out Price in the amateurs and his stoppage of Arreola was brutal. He would certainly be much better than Scott in anyone's eyes. His only legitimate defeat is to Wilder IMO.

That said he has a tendency to get trapped on the ropes, not good vs Joshua although he has a mean counter left hook which is AJs Achilles heel.

But for al those reasons IMO Stiverne would be too risky for a first fight and Don King would ensure Hearn breaks the bank for him.

It will be Scott or Molina (who Arreola stopped in a round) IMO.

Duhaupas would be a decent scrap. Seems a tough customer and coming off a career best win. Nothing special but better than Scott.

I put one of my biggest bets ever on Stiverne to win by KO in his last bout. Derric Rossy has been stopped by Audley Harrisson in prizefighter before, so i thought it was a stick-on. Stiverne is tough (wilder like you said) but he has fast hands, looked a beast in the Arreola fights.

Anyway, in his last bout he got put on his backside and Rossy came away crying robbery at the decision.

You can't give him "a pass" - he's 37, didn't land a punch on Wilder and got dropped in a horrible showing vs an Audley PrizeFighter victim. it's not like a blip, he's totally shot. That been said, he's still be a better opponent than Malik Scott.
