What fights would you like to see if it does happen?
Pacman vs Khan would be good.
On a side note, I'm with the Brexit campaign. Lets leave the EU
I'd hate for a young up and coming talent to be overlooked in favour for someone like Wlad or PAC who are just after a swan song to end their career. That and the obvious dangers that are involved. You're not going to stick a new pro straight in with someone like Klitschko so why do it in the Olympics. It's pretty unfair if you ask me.Sklar wrote:I don't understand the antipathy towards the idea. I know people don't like change but when you put that to one side, what's not to like?
I agree, it is a horrible, horrible idea.Stuarty30 wrote:I'd hate for a young up and coming talent to be overlooked in favour for someone like Wlad or PAC who are just after a swan song to end their career. Quote of the week!
You've just described an amateur bout nowadays to a tee. The new format is pro! Watch some and see!tigermoth87 wrote:I'd be for this if they kept it separate from Amateur boxing. One bunch of medals for the pros, one for the amateurs. Pros set can be prizefighter style... proper fights with no headguard, professional rules etc but just over 3 or 4 rounds.
