Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua

Post by Freedom2013 »

If Tyson Fury fights Anthony Joshua, who will win?

Hearn is already talking about having this fight in the fall of this year.

Who will you be rooting for?

Right now I'd have to back Fury, on points.

Right now I've got to go with this

Not sure anyone would be "comfortable" beating AJ.
I think he'd give Tyson a lot to think about and he'd have to be at his best

Joshua by straightforward KO in the first half of the fight.

Firstly i think Wlad will step it up and regain his belts.

Secondly, on hypotheticals, i'm not sure. If AJ hit Fury clean he'd have him out of there early. Getting his shots home is easier said than done. Fury has height and reach advantages over Joshua that he uses to great effect. Fyry also has the experience of boxing way more rounds. So far Joshua's had 1 legit fight against Whyte and looked a novice in patches.

I voted for TF by KO. I think Joshuas inexperience works against him, not know how to deal with Fury's clumsy run/jab style, i can see AJ walking on to one, or his power fading by the mid rounds.

I think KO or RTD late on. Fury keeps him on the outside and roughs and ties him up on the inside.

I think comfortable in that he doesn''t get hit much like vs Wlad is likely. That that doesn't mean it won't require his full concentration.

Fury by wide points decision, with Fury stepping up and proving the critics wrong again!, joshua has always got a punchers chance but Fury will be super defensive and pinch rounds, while staying elusive, the fight will be easier with each passing round as Joshua gets more frustrated swinging and missing with his big hooks.
Joshua could even punch himself out late on becoming an easy target for Fury to pick off at will.

That pretty much sums it up I think.

Keep it up Fury fans. This is looking fantastic for the bookies' opening pricing. :TU:

Right now you have to favor Fury. He is technically more advanced boxer. But t wont be easy. People underestimate Joshua's talents as they underestimate Furys before he took on Klitschko.

I'm inclined to believe that Joshua is not quite ready & that Fury would outwit Fury on points, but it wouldn't surprise me if Joshua flattened him.

Joshua is a monster in the making & looks to be a force of nature.

I''m still sticking with the notion that Fury would frustrate Joshua & win on points, but I am not saying that unequivocally.

Joshua wins by KO.

Fury will run, but because Joshua has younger legs than age 40 Klitschko, he'll be able to catch Fury and knock him out.
