when did Jermain box?... the name rings a bell (sorry for the pun!) I may have read about him in one of my boxing news...

Hope you're doing well mate, I probably have something on Jermain as I have a lot of BN from the 50s.... was he British?... what weight did he fight at... when I get a chance I'll try anmd leaf through some of my papers from that time and see if I can find anything on him...

He split a couple of bouts with this countries Pat Ford for the old Empire lightweight title. He also fought fairly recently deceased Barry Brown in my old stomping ground of Wellington, NZ. Australia and NZ used to get a better class of imports in those days than the fekkin Thai and Indo ringers we get now.

Just looked at his record, looks pretty useful, he split two fights with Ford for the Lightweight title (commonweath)... he came from Barbados I think but was based in Liverpool and then Austrailia.... he had quite a few bouts down under... anyone know whether he stayed in England after he retired?...
