Which young boxer is gonne take the throne

Post by Chepppaaa »

with young boxers i mean boxers around 20-28. after ggg or kovalev and many more all in the 30's or older, who is the best and will become the new "King of Boxing"

to me, it is inoue, he is on another level. but since big fights for him wont never be made, the outcome of spence becoming p4p king is more likely. since at ww and at 154 are many quality realistic options. spence has similar power to thurman and is similar as athletic as brook, spence is the best ww in the world, crawford better stay away from him.

Inoue, Tyson Fury, Callum Smith, Lomachenko

These will be more than likely be in the P4P top ten in the not so distant future.

I think that it's Canelo's job to lose right now. I feel that he's got the most fans backing him and that number would double if he would learn to speak English. Canelo could be a superstar with crossover appeal if he could speak both English and Spanish.

He is probably even more linguistically dumb than Golovkin. He and his team understand importance of speaking English, but he isn't even trying.

Inoue is the best young fighter. It's a shame that he fights on the other side of the ocean.

After last weekend I'm on the Anthony Joshua bandwagon.
Rob Brant is a good looking kid with a high ceiling who is progressing nicely.

Just noticed Bivol has a shot at one of the WBA's interim titles. Can't be far away from the big fights.

Do you know where I could see footage of Shiro, Not one many of us will be familiar with

The video section of that site should be in everyone's bookmarks! CTRL+F the name of an Asian fighter and they tend to have a fight or two on there.

You might remember Matsumoto's dad, Koji Matsumoto (fought Yong Soo Choi and Freddie Norwood for world titles in the late 1990's), Keisuke's in the same gym as the Inoue trio, Yaegashi, Ryo Matsumoto (no relation), and is a freakish kid. They are talking about trying to take him to the 2020 Olympics (in Tokyo) before he turns professional but if pros are allowed at the Olympics I'd be surprised if he doesn't say bugger it and races through the professional ranks.

Hinata Maruta beat Jason Canoy on debut (Canoy stopped Drian Francisco in a round), he also took part in a long US training camp before his debut and sparred with Felix Diaz, apparently holding his own. Their is talk he'll fight for a WBC youth title this year, possible Japanese or OPBF next year then on to world title fights.

Yes

i would like it that he goes to the more talent filled ww division.

technicaly he can hang with those guys, if he brings his power with him than it would be interresting.

Even if his KO power drops at Welterweight, I think he's good enough to outbox those guys.

i mean he is physicly even superior to a lot of ww guys, they also came from lightweight. timmy or jessie for example.

yeah thurman or amir arent technicle genuises, he can hang with.

brook, thurman, spence and crawford, that pool would make very high quality fights.

Have you seen the Canelo/Khan PPV commercial yet? it's hilarious. There's all this dramatic music and Khan says something like "I'm ready" and Canelo says "LET's Do THIS" in the funniest English i've heard since Arnold Swartz. I just kept rewinding it and laughing.

Ha ha, I have seen this, very funny. It is complete ignorance that Canelo hasn't tried to learn English.
