Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
He should be concentrating on explaining why he pissed dirty, not learning how to pass a polygraph.
Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
The test he passed less than a week before the fight coupled with this?ttornado wrote:He should be concentrating on explaining why he pissed dirty, not learning how to pass a polygraph.
I'd say he IS EXPLAINING IT.

Why does he need to concentrate to explain that?ttornado wrote:He should be concentrating on explaining why he pissed dirty, not learning how to pass a polygraph.

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
Thing is polygraph only he proves he didn't knowingly take it, but that's not a defence for failing a drug test. Well not usually anyway. Polygraphs aren't even admissible in court anyway, so not sure it has any real bearing on anything.
Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
A polygraph? Inadmissible in court for a reason. He must be desperate. Browne's just going to have to eat this one.
Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
...in a legal sense it proves nothing...

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
I think even Browne has accepted his piss was dirty but that doesnt mean he knowingly took PEDs,i know Haye and Fury played it safe over there but its ridculous that they should even have to,maybe the sanctioning bodies should think twice before allowing fights to take place over that end
Cant say for sure but i dont believe for a minute he's guilty of juicing, its a stitch up IMHO

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
Polygraphs are fairly easy to cheat, there's a reason you can't submit them in court, so don't put much weight on this. And I think he is likely innocent.

Is there a video, or pic of the lie detector test? Dont doubt for a minute theyre lying, but all ive seen is
"hatton promotions can confirm Lucas Bronwne passed..."

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
I don't think they'd roll out with this knowing they could be called on it.
Actually, I think they are betting on the sanctioning body thinking it might be a bluff.
I don't doubt for a minute he did indeed pass the polygraph.

Neither do i to be honest. Just putting myself in their shoes id provide evidence with the statement.koolkc107 wrote:I don't think they'd roll out with this knowing they could be called on it.

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
I honestly think Browne is telling the truth here. He didn't willingly take PEDs. He either had something slipped to him without his knowledge OR, someone on his team fucked up and gave him something containing it.
The guy himself though, I think is innocent.

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
Although the only confirmation we have had that Browne took a polygraph (let alone passed it) is by Browne himself.
However, if he did take a Polygraph and he did pass this, what this does mean is that the placebo aspect of taking PED wasn't a factor here.

Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
I do believe Browne is innocent of deliberately taking PEDs, but passing a polygraph is totally irrelevant imo.
Re: Lucas Brown Passes Polygraph
Brown passing the polygraph says that he has unwillingly had PED's in his system which indicates that he has not cheated (cheating being a premeditated action). That said, he won't escape a ban, but I'm hoping the anti-doping association would take into account the fact he was not responsible for the failed test, and perhaps reduce his ban (I know you can learn to pass a polygraph, but it's far fetched to believe that Brown has just learnt how to do that overnight).
Secondly, if Brown has been spiked, or given a tainted bottle of water or something, there seriously needs to be an investigation into the security of the event. It also has to raise the question the suitability of somewhere like Chechnya for international boxing, that they have people running around and sabotaging evidence etc. The onus cannot solely rest on Brown and his team.

Steve might not be smiling so much when Lucas is on the show. Might think his job is in jeopardy.
