Ward's a good fighter,good movement,quite fast and a good engine but i dont think he has the power or skills to get beyond domestic level

If he was mandatory then it would be mentioned in the circular that the winner was to fight him. And if he was mandatory then it would mean Walsh making his mandatory defence against James, another mandatory against Ward, then the Townend-Hughes winner as a third straight mandatory.
