Boxrec points got reduced?

Every single boxer in the site got his points reduced at about 25%.. Why the F#ck did they do that?

I noticed something changed last week indeed, boxrec had someone around rank 200 ish, who's now rank 150 ish without a fight between those moments.

The ratings system was updated to fix loopholes. I believe inactivity can have a negative effect on your rating points but I'm not a mathematician

But its not inactivity! ALL boxers Points got reduced and 3 star boxers have been capped to 250 pts from 334

You want a fair and true answer? Because im a TripleG Fanboy and I dont like his points being reduced from 1000+ to 850... it looks bad. Why reduce the points in the first place?
