Changing MBC UK listings to British & Irish Boxing Authority

Post by LucaDiCaro »

Hi

I had written to Marina regarding changing the UK & Irish listings of the Malta Boxing Commission (MBC) to the British & Irish Boxing Authority (BIBA) and would ask if this can be done as soon as possible as last weekend's Kyle Gallagher event was sanctioned by the British & Irish Boxing Authority.

Below is the e.mail to Marina as well as link to fight report of the 15th April event

Subject: Request for BoxRec official record keeping

Dear Ms Sheppard

I am writing today to introduce ourselves, The British & Irish Boxing
Authority (BIBA), as we would would like to request Boxrec to be the
record keepers of BIBA events and boxers records, along with FightFax in
America.

The British & Irish Boxing Authority, which officially launches this
coming week, following our taking over of the United Kingdom and Republic
of Ireland operation of the Malta Boxing Commission (MBC), who are
reverting to operating in the Republic of Malta only, once all matters of
the transfer are complete.

Attached are two documents, the first the BIBA Strategic Plan (2016-2020)
will provide you information on the vision and plans of the BIBA over the
coming four year period.

The second, an in-depth document (131 pages) that covers everything, from
BIBA boxers licensing and medical requirements through to the BIBA
Statutes and Rules & Regulations, will provide you information on the
current operations of the British & Irish Boxing Authority.

As you will ascertain from both these documents, the British & Irish
Boxing Authority is an organisation not just about being a Governing,
Sanctioning and Licensing Authority for professional boxing, but one that
is first and foremost dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards
on all aspects of our operation, especially within the realm of Boxer
Health & Safety.

I look forward to hearing from you on this matter

Yours sincerely

Gianluca Di Caro
Vice President & Chief Executive Officer
British & Irish Boxing Authority
