Haye will put Briggs to sleep.
If Haye took it seriously, it would be a pretty bad bludgeoning, unless Briggs decided to quit as soon as the big shots started landing.

He should go into panto, I'm not even joking.
There definitely should be a job for him over here doing something. I'm sure there will be once he gets his followers up a bit more. LET'S GO FOR UK EMPLOYMENT CHAMP

Yeah he should milk the fukk right outta his catchphrase. Beats getting punched about. They should give him some sort of show like Beadles about. Accept he just hounds folk day and night shouting at em. It could double as some sort of social experiment to see what people's breaking points are. Lie down to go to sleep and turn the lamp off and Shannon jumps out the cupboard 'LETS GO CHAMP'!!!

He's just trying to make a living. He might end up on some US reality TV show, tbh, wouldn't be surprised if that was his angle.

He's comedy gold. He has a punchers chance against most guys but that's about it. He should fight that Dave Allen fella at the weekend since Towers pulled out. See what he's got.
Allen was terrible at the Sheffield card last month.

Haye can get some publicity fighting that clown Briggs.

Id like to see Haye gun for something, as Fury and Joshua have recently.

What's missing in the Haye resume - a big fight in America, perhaps with his old sparring partner Wilder. Wilder is raw but has shown he's able to pull out the win. Would be a good fight.

To be fair the mood Gavern was in that night it was always gonna be an uphill battle to look passable. He made the fight a shambles. Allen showed good temperament dealing with his antics IMO.

Shannon Briggs seems like a pretty nice guy once he stops shouting the catchphrase.
It is hard to believe that he is only 44, both because he looks older and because he has been part of the landscape for such a long time.

Ok Stu, like where's your coming from, perhaps we should get in touch and become his agent.

I can see a line of merchandising already
#Letsgochamp t-shirts, mugs etc.

Motivational speaking, his own series of workout videos - #letsgochamp - it's got winner written all over it. I'll get him on the blower now.

I like the workout video idea man :TU: That's inspiring! You could get your first weeks PEDs free when you order online with a personalised LETS GO CHAMP syringe. He looks like Uncle Phil from the fresh prince on roids :brick:

Disagree about David Allen.

He got dragged down to Gavern's level but Allen's right hand - which he kept trying - was way off. Me and my mate were cringing at not only the fight but Allen's performance. If he'd concentrated and boxed sensibly things would've likely worked out better.

Gavern's should not keep, getting these paydays in England and Germany. He's a joker.

After the fight I'm certain Allen said he's going to shake up the world. Acoustics weren't very good in Sheffield, mind.

He's down to fight on Hayes undercard next month so I'm assuming he still is.
he is back in usa training for fight on haye undercard, opponent tba, if he comes through he will fight haye in july, then haye (if he beats briggs) is looking for a world title tilt in november........and haye will travel if needed, he has no choice.
How does Mr Haye think that by disappearing for 3.5 years, then coming back & knocking over a couple of daffodils & the ghost of Shannon Briggs who is now old as space itself is going to earn him a title shot in November?
