Is this the same Ryan Ford as the MMA fighter who did time for a home invasion? I'm pretty sure he was Canadian too.

Ryan is also the son of former Canadian lightweight champ and world Top 10 contender Al Ford, who turned pro in 1967 and reeled off 37 consecutive wins before dropping a decision to Percy Hayles for the Commonwealth title in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1971. The following year Al gave world champ Ken Buchanan all he could handle in their non-title bout at Wembley, which saw Buchanan eke out a points win at 143 pounds. Ford later lost to Boom Boom Mancini and Aaron Pryor, and retired with a record of 55-19 (19 KOs) after being stopped by Michael Olajide in 1982.
