A New Problem at Light Heavy!

Post by bnovelist »

You guys at least most of you don't realize how deceptfully talented Degale really is. After he beats Bute he plans on moving up to challenge the likes

of Ward, Stevenson, & Kovalev. I'm not ignorant to Degale's potential he could be the man at light heavy he has all the tools and ingredients to be the

King of that division. If you knew Andre Ward personally you'd know that he much rather opt to fight Krusher or Stevenson than Degale. Degale

fights with that style "I'm Going To Figure Out I Love Playing Chess! This is Fun!" Degale is a REAL legitimate threat http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/boxing ... ddleweight

Ward has never fought a slick boxer like DeGale, he's looked good against limited boxers like Froch, Abraham and Kessler. DeGale had called him out a few times before Ward moved up to LHW but he didn't respond..... Not saying DeGale would have won but it would have been an interesting fight because of the styles as Ward isn't a pressure fight who would have tired DeGale out and caused him stamina problems.

DeGale better not come close to Kovalev or Beterbiev.

GGG could beat DeGale even though they're at different weights.

i can see the James DeGale man love has been going on for awhile.
Facing Kovalev, Stevenson and Ward is just DeGale running his mouth.
He will try coaxing GGG up to SMW before he considers facing a top-3 guy at LHW.
He also has a wide open SMW division to conquer before anything else. Jack, Ramirez and Groves are all matches he should be aiming for first.

ps digzee ♥s DeGale :TU:

Quite a few Light Heavyweights would defeat Degale

Degale at his best can beat nearly anyone 160-175. The problem is his best doesn't last for 12 rounds. He gets lazy, takes rounds off and doing that against hitters like Kovalev, Stevenson, or Beterbiev would get him knocked out. If he shows he can maintain his best for 12 whole rounds then he'd have more of a shot but I still don't think it'd be enough to beat Kov and maybe Berb. Ward outboxes him at his best or not.

I am serious. Both are Haymon fighters who are being avoided. Why not fight each other ? Ah, DeGale doesn't really want to fight at 175 -- just talking.
