The only thing I hate about this is that this will be the death of the current today version of Kovalev, unless he grits it up and bounces back like Carl

Froch did. Froch is the only fighter to lose to Ward that actually came back and revived his career and I hope Kovalev can do the same it was fun

watching him but Ward has too much craft, very hard to hit, and if the fight is in Oakland that seals the deal for Ward. I just hope it doesn't ruin

Kovalev's confidence post Andre Ward.

Hmm lets see. Ward has already fought clearly better opposition than GGG. He is also younger. AND is going up in weight to challenge himself against monsters. GGG? Meh. I'll just stay in my weight class and beat up trashmen. What would you be saying about Ward if he fought his entire career fighting the Jurgen Brahmer and Karo Murat's of the world? These are the types GGG is fighting. You know what you would be saying about "Soggy" if he did that. Don't even try it.

I'll believe it when they're actually in the ring.

Up until then, I'm expecting Ward to shamelessly duck.

If there is no date and venue, then what was signed ?

You also said that they werent allowed to fight other opponents after June, but Kova is fighting in July.

Ward has balls.

GGG is content to knock over cans at 160 forever.

At least he gives (unintentionally) humorous post fight interviews.

Ward did not move up in weight for a challenge. He either couldn't make weight anymore or HBO wasn't approving opponents like Smith, Murdoch or Brandt. Ward having picked such potential opponents already shows hom much challenge he wants.

Ward has faced and beaten better fighters than Golovkin has. That is undeniable. Now of course there's a million excuses why Ward wins fights, or how he's afraid of lol "challenges", but the truth is that's just empty headed hate. When he proves himself against Kovalev win or lose ignorant opinions don't matter.

Ward's better opposition is ancient history.

I'm not sure why I even debate certain things with you idiots. Now we have people speaking for why Ward moved up in weight in an effort to downplay it. How the hell would you know why he did?! It doesn't matter WHY he did. It only matters that he did. Into a division with sharks.

Ward has beaten better fighters than GGG. Fact.
Ward has gone up in weight despite being younger than GGG. Fact.

The rest are opinions and conjecture. These are facts. Indisputable facts.

Ward had to go up dumbass. he could not make that weight anymore. GGG is a 5'10 MW. He is a small MW. He does not have to jump if he does not want to. You are hating on GGG because he isn't from the inner city of the states. Let an American or anyone in the world challenge him at 160. How does that sound to you? If GGG was from the inner city of America with a lot of drama and a thug he would be beloved by America and especially by you. But he is not so you try to hate on his success. Ward is the one who hardly fought for 4 years and you want to put that on GGG? Don't be so bitter of Saturday's dispatching of another American. You sound like broken brained Roy Jones.
