The talk of the town

Post by Pureist »

Regardless of whether you like him or not, GGG seems to be the fighter in the limelight and on everybody's lips at the moment, if this amount of publicity keeps growing as it has in recent times, could he reach the same levels of popularity that pacquaio did, both fighters from other country's than America , both very crowd pleasing, thoughts

i think he can yes.

beating canelo all about the place would help :box: but odlh and canelo have no intentions of making that fight. i do like canelo though.

but ggg has a very fan friendly style and also great ring IQ that everybody can appreciate.

Unlikely as Golovkin is already 34, but to have any chance of this he needs big fight after big fight now.

He's in 10 threads on the front page of current scene at the moment, probably 5 bashing him and 5 promoting him

I don't see how anyone can not like watching him fight.
But I do wish he could get a few big fights.
Canelo should happen this year. But I'm not willing to believe it until I see them walk to the ring.
I would like to see him in with Lara. But don't think it will happen
