Dear John and Marina

I would be obliged if you could advise why Boxrec have not only failed to
update the results of the Lee Murtagh 22nd April Leeds event, as well as
not only failed to update the results for the Thomas Melville 23rd April
Paisley event but to actually remove it from the listings altogether.

Also could you advise why many of the MBC/BIBA boxers rankings and points
have been drastically reduced but not those of the BBBofC boxers that were
ranked around them.

Besides the Lee Churcher issue, I am most concerned that both Nathan
Decastro's http://boxrec.com/boxer/675397 and Marianne Marston's
http://boxrec.com/boxer/647191 records have been wrongly altered
especially as they have Championship bouts coming up.

I have attached both the 22nd & 23rd April event reports once again as
well as screen shots of the original boxrec profiles for Nathan & Marianne
(Marianne's is just from a few days ago - 22nd April and is dated
clearly).

I would also be obliged if you could respond to my last e.mail regarding
the transfer of all matters regarding the United Kingdom and the Republic
of Ireland operations of the Malta Boxing Commission to the British and
Irish Boxing Authority as all legal, Governmental and Commercial matters
regarding the transfer from MBC to BIBA will be completed this week.

I await your reply

Yours sincerely

Gianluca Di Caro
Vice President and Chief Executive Officer
British & Irish Boxing Authority

Shortly after all MBC/BIBA events were removed from the Boxrec website

With regard to these restrictive actions of Boxrec today - see http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=200065 - we have instructed our lawyers to prepare a legal action against them - However neither John or Marina Sheppard are replying to my calls, texts, e.mails or the message I have posted to admin on the Boxrec forum to supply their registered address so that papers can be served on them.

I have undertaken a company check with regard to Boxrec Limited https://companycheck.co.uk/…/04723350/B ... ED/summary only to discover that the company has been dissolved

A Whois search shows that Boxrec register their domain using an address in America http://www.whois.com/whois/boxrec.com

It is also our intention to include Boxrec within the case against the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) and the European Boxing Union (EBU) and a number of their members for actively operating a cartel and failing to operate within the EU laws with regard to free trade within Europe, as well as tortious interference and restrictive practices with the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) case as well as the European Commissions Competition action for their clear conspiring with the European Boxing Union and it's members such as the British Boxing Board of Control as is made clear by the aforementioned post on the Boxrec forum

However should we fail to find Boxrec or Mr Sheppard's address so that the papers can be served I will instruct my American legal team to undertake the case against them in America, where I have been reliably advised we would be able to sue for a substantial amount of damages.

MBC & BIBA members please be advised that Fightfax are the official record keepers for both MBC & BIBA and as such the records are fully up to date and will continue to be so - as such whilst at this point none of our upcoming events are on Boxrec they will be able to be updated once this matter is resolved.

For reference the European Boxing Union are a Championship organisation and are not a rule making or governing authority and cannot possibly have any say on any matter.

Finally we will be contacting the Association Of Boxing Commissions (ABC) who John and Marina Sheppard have tried to be the official record keepers for, but due to the inaccuracies of Boxrec record keeping, which is now further highlighted, will actively object, along with the many others that have previously blocked Boxrec's efforts

Why not start your own record archive? I support your efforts to build your business but anyone who takes legal action against anybody is a cunt in my book.

I think starting your own website for the results of your boxers would be a great idea.

I don't think this bloke has a leg to stand in. The Board of Control and the EBU are governing bodies in the same way we have the FA and UEFA.

Since when did Boxrec have any official status as a maintainer of records?

EBU is far from UEFA as we are far from the Moon. By the way almost all commissions from the list http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=200065 are EBU commissions.

1. What way Fight Fax can check results that commissions send to Fight Fax?
2. Who is the person that responsible to send result to Fight Fax in Latvia for example or in Russia. Please name that person?

Boxrec can do what they like. It's their website.

Luca can make his own website if he likes. In between record producing, boxing promotions and legal battles.

How hilarious - not sure how on earth you would hope to achieve anything taking court action - what's the actual offence here?

Apparently the legal case has been booked into Court, it's scheduled to follow a case of a seven year old suing his classmate for not letting him play with his football.... :verysad:
