I thought Naz said he was coming back? Is he just talking about it or what? would like to see him back myself!

When the story broke Hamed never indicated that he would be back before Summer, with September / October the more feesible.

Things have gone quiet but that doesn't necessarily mean that Hamed won't surprise us all.

He's being lined up to fight Audley Harrison later on in the year.

The Prince is 32 this year & that is usually too old for a featherweight.

Then again, looking at the girth on him, he may be coming back at cruiserweight, which in that case, 32 is fine then!

I really cannot see how he can come back, he relied on his reflexes to much & surely with been out of the ring for a few years & getting older i cannot really see him having those attributes anymore.

Its such a shame he packed it in when he did becuase he could have had fights with MAB again, Morales, JMM, Pac-Man, the Pac-Man fight IMO would have been a cracker

I doubt he'll be back. If he does I would think it would initially be at Lightweight against a blown up feather. He'd probably struggle with him, look bad, but win, get criticised by the press and then we'd never hear from him again.

We have got Harrison v Guzman in March, what the hell do we need Hamed for. Look forward not backwards.

Exactly, why oh why must we harp on about Hamed endlessly, yes he was exciting, yes he was fun to watch, but's he's part of the game's history, not it's future. the only reason Hamed talks about coming back is that he likes hearing his name being bandied about by the press.

On a slightly different point, I rewatched Hamed v Robinson the other night, and I have to say, having seen it again, I wonder whether Hamed at his best would have stood any chance against Barrera. Yes, he was in decline by the time he met Barrera, but he was wild and open to counters against Robinson, and Robinson was not a patch on Barrera.

I've always maintained that the Hamed who beat Robinson would have given Barrera a very good argument, but having seen that fight again, I think technically Hamed always had serious flaws as a fighter,
