Would be good if they faced each other but no chance of that happening.

Yeah no doubt. Whytes first fight back after an op and a confidence builder for Price. Maybe putting them on the same bill with a view to matching em later in the year though?

Looks like they will be lining Price and Whyte up as Joshua defences. A Price fight would be particularly pointless

Funny thing is theres a small chance price might cause a major upset.he can definitely hit, if he remembers how to throw. Unlikely though admittedly.

Apparently the IBF are going to re rank him after the Teper No Contest.
Wouldnt put it past Hearn to make the fight, same credentials as Breazedale, former olympian and a big lump...

No chance Price would cause an upset. He should have a punchers chance but his confidence is so shot he would completely freeze on the night. Horrible match if its made

I did say a small chance. It's not like Whyte is Godzilla.

If he fights like against Teper, yeah, he'd need to very aggressive. If he's managed to rebuild his confidence enough, then it could be a fun round of boxing.

Joshua deserves big thanks from the boxing fans for ridding us of all these useless American football players with padded records. I want Washington next.

Pricey would freeze in the headlights and get steamrollered in the first round. Pity I'd love to see him iron AJ out which he's got the punch to do

I can't believe people are making threads about such a fight
This is a one round bum blow out for £17 ,so stream it if u can , AJ will keep fighting these types of non credible opponents all the time the causal football fans keep buying in to the match room hype machine .
To the hardcore fans he is not the real IBF champion because he did not beat the legitimate IBF ,the belt was brokered for him :box:

Do you have an official list of fights that people can make threads about?

Loads more tickets available on official website AXS. Eddie just can't admit when AJ hasn't sold out in ten minutes...

Well, no surprises, as I said in another thread, the casuals are a fickle bunch, they aren't going to keep forking out for 1 or 2 round blowouts.

At some point the matches will have to become more significant or it will be diminishing returns.

Joshua needs a fight against someone the public have heard of, Haye, for one, Fury, at some stage, or at least a big name they've heard of, which admittedly, at this time, there are not many big name heavyweights, Wlad will be gone soon most likely win or lose, who is left?
