He needs to be pushed on and fast. I'd like to see him in a title fight as early as the autumn. I reckon he'd be in with a shout against Pedraza. I rate Walsh as better than Stephen Smith.
Walsh hasnt moved past domestic lvl because hes do damn unreliable hes pulleed out more times than a catholic priest thats the reason his promoter dosnt move him on its that simple. No doubting liam is a great talent and ultra nice lad but the show must go on isnt in his vocabulary.

I know he was supposed to fight Burns a few years ago and was injured in a car crash. I think that would've been too early for him. I didn't know he was the unreliable type. I thought he was just very unlucky with injuries and call offs etc... He has more than enough talent to be pushed on after Saturday. I read he's been pencilled in for an eliminator in the summer so I hope that happens and he gets a shot. If what you say is true then hopefully a potential world title shot will see him start taking things more seriously.

Being pencilled in for a fight in July is crazy and overlooking Troy imo. He's more than got his hands full with Troy, why do you think it's took so long and with Troy being mandatory for him to still get a fight ? No one wants to risk fighting him, he's a massive risk and no reward.

History has a tendency to repeat itself, and that will happen again on Saturday night. By this I mean Liam & Ryan have never successfully won or defended titles on the same night going back to the Amatuers when both fought for ABA titles, Liam won, Ryan lost, following year, Liam lost his crown and Ryan won, just a little something to think about. Troy is ready for 12 rounds of a war and that is what he's going to bring, but I honestly believe Troy has the ability and firepower to stop Liam, he's been overlooked & underestimated in nearly every fight from his first area title fight, and he's shocked many people with footwork, boxing ability, boxing brain, and power, I think a lot more people will be shocked on Saturday if game plan goes accordingly

I'm not sure if Walsh has agreed to any fight or if it was just whatever governing body it was that put his name forward. If he has signed you are right it is a bit disrespectful but it could work in your favour if he's overlooking your boy. I've not seen much of Troy but I've always liked Walshs style. He can be got at though. You have to back your man and good luck to you all :TU: Looking forward to the fight.

This is the fight I'm most looking forward too.. I am a huge fan of Liam Walsh but I also like Team James attitude. I've got to say I had seen a lot of Troy before he fought Clark.. I expected Ronnie to be too big and took powerful in honesty all wrong for Troy on past experience. We expected Troy to go toe to toe and Sneaky Dean made us think that also... He got his tactics spot on frustrating Ronnie and making it a very close fight that Troy won. If they can pull off another tactical performance you never know. I think Liam may be a bit more technically better than Ronnie and will let adjust to what Troy does.. I think this is Troy's World Title fight may the best man win
