At the time Haye vs Fury was made, Tyson was such a mixed bag. One fight he'd be great, the next fight he stank.

Because of this , many naturally favoured Haye - but looking back, everyone was saying Fury was training like a demon and it was the first fight he'd genuinely taken 100% seriously- you have to think in hindsight that Haye could very well have lost that one.

Especially when there were stories Haye's training was a bit up and down.

Haye was cocksure of himself back then, but I think after Fury beat Wlad - his opinion has massively changed.

Haye probably thinks he just needs to land, against AJ and Fury - and he's probably right. But can he execute that shot nowadays, without getting dusted?

I make no apologies for saying I'd love to see Haye fight Fury or AJ , just so we get a conclusion.

So would I. Anyone who says otherwise is a bullshitter.

Fury v Klitschko 2 = great match
Fury v Joshua = great match
Fury v Haye = great match
Fury v Wilder = great match
Any other combination of the above fighters = great matches (except Haye v Wlad 2)

I'd love to see the fight, I just wouldn't like to see Haye get it without earning it. I think it could be pretty low pace, and restrained though. Both very wary of each others big punches. I don't mind that as much as many though, as long as it's not a complete shut out (Fury Chisora II).

Fury has 'big punches' ?
Not as big as other top heavyweights but he's got power.

Plus don't forget he hurt Wlad last fight, a lesser heavyweight that shaken wouldn't ended up on the canvas. He also wobbled Chisora before that.

I'd love to see haye v wilder added to that list

haye beats wilder for me...another angle to set up haye v Fury/AJ

When David Haye does something relevant in the HW division, will somebody let us know?

Knocking over daffodils in the O2 does not qualify you for big fights, David!
