I'd appreciate him a lot if would go back to 154 and face these undefeated top 10 154 pounders.

He beats them all at 154 in my opinion.

If he fights GGG @ 160, he won't go down , only if it's a big money fight.

If he loses to Golovkin then I think he will try to get back down to 154 lbs.

What's left for him at 160 lbs if he loses clearly to Golovkin? Saunders? Jacobs?

He would probably go 3-1 if he fought all four.

I doubt he could still make 154 atm, let alone when he'd move @ 160 lbs but who knows.

Why couldn't he make 154? He is fighting at 155 now.

Those would all be interesting fights. I think he beats the charlos and loses to andrade and williams. Obviously that last one is based off of nothing other than gut feeling. I could see the andrade fight going either way, probably similar to the lara fight.

He's been weighing in at 155 lbs or less in recent fights.

I don't see why he can't drop a single extra pound.

I think he's struggling to make 155. Dude is a really bulky fighter.

I think Oscar and Canelo plan is to move gradually in weight 155, 156, 157 .... etc and drag up in weight high profile welters. In 3/4 years they would start to negotiate with GGG's team (if GGG is still fighting and a top fighter/name).

Oscar won't risk his only golden goose this year or even next year.

That'd make him one of the biggest jokes in boxing history.

That won't happen.

 true but who cares as long as his fights would do big numbers. Look at his next fight with Khan. Canelo is going to fight a chiny welter @ 155 lbs and defend his WBC middleweight title and lots of people are buying this fight.

Casual fans are idiots. Hundreds of thousands of them were buying Mayweather snooze fest PPVs. The undercard is good though.

all these fights are very interresting. If they dont fight with Golovkin in september, fight with one of these 4 would be great, best options besides GGG :box: :box: :box: . Best chances has Demetrius Andrade

If Alvarez beats Khan then he has to fight Golovkin.

Win or lose, he can fight these guys afterwards.

Andrade is his toughest test. The most decorated USA amateur boxer probably in a century, 6'1" who has skills that surpass Lara, according to Virgil Hunter. Inactive lately, but better than the Charlo brothers, and he will show that if they ever fight.

That's a big shout considering he doesn't have an Olympic gold.

Predictions at 154:

Vs Andrade-Canelo misses weight and has to pay a six figure penalty. Canelo by MD (controversial).

Vs Charlo's-Canelo misses weight and has to pay a six figure penalty. Canelo by UD.

Vs Julian Williams-Canelo misses weight and has to pay a six figure penalty. Canelo TKO7.

I think that all these fights would end controversial with Canelo getting the W.
