Parklife and Teenage Dirtbag between rounds.

I was hoping the build up to this fight would have given Hughie the impetus to use it as a shop window of sorts, it seems not.Neil Gee wrote:I've not watched Hughie Fury's last 4 fights, since a deadly boring decision over Andriy Rudenko about 15 months ago. This fight is reminding me why.

I would suggest worse... Probably smells like the bubonic plague....

The sport needs clarity though. The other day somebody on BBC FiveLive was asking Anthony Joshua when he thinks Tyson Fury will challenge him.wesshaw1985 wrote:I'm not so sure they really mean anything anymore.SNG wrote:I bloody hope not, I'm still annoyed the IBF fractured the title. Tyson is the man at HW after he beat Klitschko.
For anybody to be considered the best the have to beat Tyson.
The belts are not a measure of who is the best, but they allow a fighter to get more of a shine on them.
Holding the WBO Title would bring Hughies name up onto a level with Wilder and AJ.

I stopped watching after 4 rounds. Hughie was winning. Fight sucked. I figure it'll go on like that. I might check in around the time the fight will be almost over.
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Fred Kassi and undercard rbr.
Both just going through the motions.

Crowd booing...... Hughie is never going to be exciting, but he is very effective. He doesn't get hit much......
Ps is that the heavyweight formerly known as 'Paddy Reilly' in his corner?

Re: Hughie Fury vs. Fred Kassi and undercard rbr.
Hughie doesn't seem that interested and making excuses in the corner now. Feels like groundhog day
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Fred Kassi and undercard rbr.
The Boos are ringing out while the commentary team desperately try to find positives.
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Fred Kassi and undercard rbr.
Fury cut! takes a right hand.
Re: Hughie Fury vs. Fred Kassi and undercard rbr.
It would be fitting if Hughie Fury is on the undercard for the Conlan vs Nelson rematch

I agree mate, but Tyson became the man and within days was stripped of his IBF title.Cholo_cws wrote:The sport needs clarity though. The way these governing bodies are you just cant win.
A part of me thinks he should have beaten Klitschko and the next day binned the lot of the belts.
Furys name sells fights these days not the amount of gold around his waste...

You can get 20-1 at paddy power for Kassi, which considering the cut maybe worth a fiver

Don't know what the commentators are going on about saying the stoppage is a real shame, just saved us 20 minutes of pure boredom
