James was excellent tonight, super tough and never gave up,Boxingcutman should be proud and ive gotta say his towel was perfect timing,Walsh is just a class act though,a real blend of offensive and defensive prowess, speed and power too,why he's still at domestic level is beyond me,far lesser fighters have fought for world titles recently,i know he wants a Lonsdale but id like to see him crack on

Apart from Hughie/Kassi an excellent nights boxing

He should have a quick final defence of the British and then go after Pedrazza for the IBF.

Pedrazza didn't look anything special against Smith and Walsh is ranked at No. 3.

If his chins up to standard then he might have enough to be in and around the title picture. He moves well and can keep people on the end of his jab without getting hit much. We have a fella challenging for a title that went life and death with this fella so... Heavyweight boxing is in a sad state.

Terry O'connor didn't call the cut an accidental head clash when it happened so he clearly thought it was from a punch. Hughie starts to fade and his eye start getting worse. Kassi starts to come on. I was thinking Kassi has a great chance to win this fight.

Then Terry O'connor stops the fight. Did he even call in the doctor? If he did, the doctor must have been 8 feet away. Terry O'connor called the fight off not the doctor. He then rules after he's stopped the fight. That the cut was caused by an accidental head clash.

British boxing is unbelievably corrupt.
I checked, I'm pretty sure he did call it at the time.
Also just look at the cut, definitely should have been stopped

And BTW this is a pic of the doctor looking at Hughie from that fight.

Hughie a boring fighter to watch live. not busy enough and lacks the killer instinct. Needs someone decent to fight. David price would be great but can't see it happening.

Although he's technically sound, with a bit of a bang, he's so robotic, talk of him fighting Khan is as laughable as it is possible... Very I might add! Khan cruises to a victory against Singh no disrespect intended! He's in an exciting weight class, and if he's good enough he'll certainly get the chance to show it.. In my opinion, he's just above European level, but shy of world class.. For India's sake wrap him in cotton wool for a few more fights.. Keep them interested in boxing, as it's good for the sport..
Problem is he's 31 later this year, if they want to keep Indian's interested they need to do more than see these mismatches. Theirs a Pakistani guy (Muhammad Waseem) who has recently signed to fight Jether Oliva in his 4th fight. Waseem's team have shown a belief in him, paid for him to go training in Japan and at the Mayweather Gym and it appears they are willing to test him.

Singh hasn't proven anything and with India being so cricket mad you need to get their attention, farces like they see Singh in won't do that.

You complete an utter tool. You're either poorly educated or simply don't understand simple English

That's what we call a question. Not a statement.

Again, this is what we call a question. Not a statement.

I was watching the fight in, lets say. An unconventional way. You tool. Best getting an education or a new pair of glasses mate.

Couldn't agree more. He's a young guy and yet to reach his full potential. He has all the fundamentals and physical advantages but he isn't someone I've ever enjoyed watching. Hopefully he developes and finds a bit of power.

It's true though. Remember when I bet £1,000 on Povetkin to beat Wlad, when I was heavily into a wine, codeine and midget porn? I don't.

Or can build onto it with some more flare, and more combos as his stamina and confidence improves. Better stamina means he could also load up on more of his punches. He could do with learning a few more tricks on the inside too, rather than just tying people up.

Had to stop watching this card live last night so caught up this morning.

The Conlan fight was sensational, really really enjoyed it, swung one way then the other multiple times.

Shame the Fury fight was so dull, I want to like Hughie but it's difficult to enjoy watching him at the moment. Hopefully he will become more entertaining as his competition improves.

Graham, have the Furys wronged you at some point ?

126 posts and counting since 26 April, and they're virtually all anti-Fury in some form. Getting a bit tedious now.

Peter Fury's longish comments about the fight. Says he'd like a rematch because of how awkward Kassi is.
